Chapter 38

(Stella's POV) 

I woke up to Gunner licking my face.I brought him up to my face an looked him in the eyes

"Gunner why can't you be like your brother and sister an let me sleep."I said 

All I got was a lick in response I took gunner off my bed an headed downstairs with the three puppies following me. I went to the kitchen to find my dad cooking breakfast. 

"Morning dad."I said while filling the dog's bowls with food and water

"Morning pumpkin Merry Christmas."My dad said kissing my forehead and giving me a green tea latte

"Merry Christmas to you to dad."I said taking a seat at the dining table 

"I hope you're hungry I made you're favorite."My dad said 

"Chocolate chip waffles and hash browns."I said 

"Yep I also made some bacon."My dad said putting the food in front of me 

"Thank you."I said digging into my food 

"I also I have one more thing for you honey."My dad said 

"What is it."I said 

"Here."My dad said handing me a box

"Dad you didn't have to get me anything."I said 

"This is very special and I think you should always have it sweetie go on open it."My dad said 

I teared open the wrapping paper covering the box and saw another box so I teared open the box to see there was another smaller box, then another smaller box,then another smaller box, until I found a tiny velvet box. I opened the box and saw something I haven't seen in years it was my dead brother's necklaces he wore everyday. It was dog collar that said Dylan on it.

"Dad no you didn't."I said crying 

"He would want you to wear it."My dad said hugging me 

"I miss him."I said 

"I know you do but he's still here he wouldn't want you to be sad on Christmas love."my Dad said 

"Yeah he wouldn't."I said 

"Come on wipe those tears."my dad said 

"Thank you daddy."I said 

"You're welcome ."My dad said hugging me 

"Come on let's eat ."My dad said 

"Yeah let's do it."I said 

(Around 5:30 )

"Bye daddy."I said hugging him before he got into the cab

"Bye pumpkin I'll see when I get home make sure you be good."My dad said 

"Of course dad."I said 

"I promise we'll practice shooting when I get home."My dad said 

"All right bye dad Merry Christmas."I said

"Bye love you."my dad said 

"Love you too."I said as the cab starting to drive away 

After my dad's cab left I went inside to get ready for the Christmas party Calum was having at the gang house. Everyone decided to spend time with there family during the day and at night everyone would meet up. I decided to get everybody's present inside my SUV  because that's gonna be a struggle putting them all in later.  

After putting all the presents in my SUV except for the dogs I decided to find an outfit.I decided on a red sweater, a black skirt since I never really wear skirts, a triangle necklace, and black boots. I changed out of my PJ's and changed into my outfit.  Then all of sudden I got a call

"Hello."I said 

"Merry Christmas baby."Calum said 

"Merry Christmas."I said and smiled 

"I miss you when are you coming."Calum said 

"I'll be there soon I just finished getting ready."I said 

"Okay well you might want to hurry because Michael's hungry."Calum said 

"We'll he might want to wait because one of my presents can stay in the car."I said 

"What do you mean."Calum said 

"You have to wait just have to see."I said 

"Alright I'll see you soon."Calum said 

"Okay bye babe."I said 

"Bye."Calum said 

Alright Thomas,Lexi, Gunner."I yelled as all three of them came into my room 

"Okay sit."I said an they did as I said 

I put there leashes on them grabbed my purse an headed downstairs to my SUV. I locked up my house and got the dogs in the passenger seat while I went to the driver's seat and started to drive to the gang house. 

The gang house wasn't that far maybe 10 maybe 15 minute drive so I got there in not time. I parked my SUV next to Calum's. I got out of the drivers seat and went over to the passengers seat to get the puppies. Once I got the puppies I locked the door and headed inside the house as I entered the house I heard voices from the living room so that's where I headed . All of sudden Lexi started barking.

"Shh Lexi."I said 

"What was that."Michael said 

"I don't know."Calum said 

"Maybe it's he neighbor's dog or something."Luke said 

"Yeah."Ashton said 

I continued walking into the living quietly without anyone noticing me and let the dog of the leashes.

"Oh my dog puppies."Bryana said 

"There's three."Calum said picking up gunner and Thomas while Kayla picked up Lexi

"Yeah surprise."I said 

"Aww you got puppies."Rena said 

"That's Calum's present."I said 

"Oh my God I finally I have a dog."Calum said excited 

"Make that three."I said 

"OH MY GOD I HAVE THREE DOGS THANK YOU SO MUCH BABY."Calum said running over to me and placing kisses on my cheek 

"You're welcome."I said 

"Okay enough with the PDA let's put the puppies down and let's go eat."Michael said 

"Yeah Michael's right I'm starving."Luke said 

"Alright let's go."Calum said grabbing my hand as we all went to the table
