Skylar tried to played it off cool in school today when she was told that Ryan would be her tutor, but Evie on the other hand was jumping for joy that her little bro would be her tutor.

What if my room was there? Had they moved anything? Had my clothing been sold or did they still keep it sprawled across the room floor like I normally had kept it?

Driving over to my old house was scary, because this would be the same place I had left in hope to protect it, but I had only made things worse. I shuddered at the thought of the lab and focused on the directions. I remember the street names, but I had never drove here before. I was forbidden from even looking at a car, in case I would get any ideas to run away.

The memories of me and my family driving down these streets flooded into my head, circling around and around until I snapped out of it and flushed them down the drain.

Our house was on 5752 Berkshire lane, standing in front of a large oak tree. The oak tree immediately made me think of Ry and the accident. When I saw him today at school, with his hands all over that slut who I most definitely didn't approve of by the way, he still had the scar. The large ring that would forever and always shame me for my wrong doings.

I stepped out the door, leaving my screaming family behind me. Two men grabbed my arms and locked shut our door. I was confused, why did they need to grab my arms? I already said I was coming with them. As quickly as I had shut the door, the first man snapped his fingers together, and we were in a dark room.

I was picked up by the large men who took me to this room, and they set me in the corner of the room.  Confused, I twisted around in a large circle to see 5 large tanks. Four were filled with other children. The fifth was empty.

The next thing I knew, I was lifted into the tank by the men. I tried to squirm out of their grasp but their arms wouldn't give in. I hit the ground of the tank and looked around. It was made of glass and many scientists had gathered around to watch me. What were they watching?

The glass ceiling closed above me and 2 strings with circles at the end of them lowered and attached themselves to my temples. What was going on?

All the sudden, pain ricocheted from my skull all the way down to my toes. A magnetic force seemed to be pulling all my organs and flipping them inside out. I screamed in the tank, but it was no use. They couldn't hear me. My feet started to feel weighed down in my bunny onesie. I looked down at my feet. They were filling the tank with water. My lungs were burning, and I couldn't scream anymore. So instead I opened my mouth and shouted while nothing came out until a shock went through my body and I went out like a light.

I wobbled as I awoke from the horrible memory. I rubbed my wrists were the shock had came from many years ago, and knocked on the door that once belonged to me.

After a few seconds of waiting, a face peered from behind the curtains, and unlocked the door.

I took a deep breath and hoped for the best.

Dad. It was my dad.

The biggest smile I had made in forever played across my face, and I wanted nothing more than to hug him and never let him go.

"Why hello there! You must be Skylar! Wonderful to meet you, I'm Louis." He smiled and held out his hand for me to shake.

I grinned and pulled him in for a large hug. He must of thought that I was weird, because he didn't hug me back for a few seconds.

"Uhhhh Dad what's going on here?"

Ryan walked halfway down the stairs and gave me an awkward glare.

Well this is going to be fun.
