Beyond the mountains lay a firm green forest, perfect for hunting. Plus all the food I packed should be gone by then.

It's been a few hours since I first started this journey. The sun is starting to set and I've already gotten to the first mountain. Me and my trustworthy wolves had made a temporary hut for the night and we're going to continue to the cliffs tomorrow when the sun first rises.

It shouldn't take quite as long as I expected if we can finish climbing the first few mountains tomorrow.

Looking at my map and knowing how to use it for some reason fills me with some kind of determination. One of the only things I still feel, and I love it, Feeling different, and I really don't know why.

Discovering feelings is amazing. To know how other people feel, I wish I still had such powers. But I have different ones now. Ones that home has never known nor any other village.

The small leaf pillow made it hard to sleep, but I know for sure it's better than sleeping out in the long grass. Plus, the soft wind that rattled the sticks of the hut was kind of comforting.

There light snores of the wolves made it easier for me to sleep, and in no time I was out.

I looked at my two wolves. One had died the night before. Grita was a wonderful wolf but that doesn't matter now. If Grita didn't survive the first night then why morn for the weak?

It was time to continue to the forest. After I couldn't sleep we decide to continue and now where almost to the river we have to cross to get to the forest.
