Thank you all so much for reading my story. I don't know how fast I will upload, but it will be as soon as I can. Again, English isn't my first language, so sorry for grammar or spell mistakes. I'm trying to improve my English. Have fun reading the new chapter ! :)
Mark walked down the street he lived in. It was peaceful and quiet in the, usually pretty lively, street. It was evening and the sun slowly disappeared behind the houses and trees, but it was a nice warm evening. For some reason, Mark walked to Jacks house. He didn't exactly know why, but he didn't care. He could just see Jack and play some games or something. He walked past many houses and a few streets, but there was no one there. Usually, these streets where full of live and cars, but now there weren't even birds to be heard or seen. This didn't bother Mark though. He continued walking with a dreamy feeling in his head. "This isn't normal !" A little voice in Marks head said. "There should be lots of people here ! Go back home !" But Mark ignored the little voice. The dreamy feeling made him happy. He felt like nothing could go wrong and he could do whatever he wanted. He kept walking trough the quiet, died out streets, humming a happy song. He was going to see Jack, of course he was happy ! He kept walking and reached Jacks house. He knocked on the door and waited. No one came. He knocked once more, feeling a bit of the happiness disappear and make space for concern. He knocked once again, harder this time. "Jack ? JACK!?" for some reason Mark completely panicked. Jack could just be out or something right? "no" Mark thought, now breathing heavily. He felt the feeling of fear growing in his stomach. "JACK ARE YOU THERE?!?" Mark started screaming and banging on the door, but he knew that it was no use. No one answered.
Mark started running. He didn't know why he was do panicked and why he was running to the park, but it happened. He kept running as fast as he possibly could, past all the empty streets. Everything suddenly didn't look so happy anymore. The colors faded and made place for dark shades. If you had a quick look, it looked like a black and white picture, but this didn't bother Mark. He kept running in the direction of the park. His heart beating out of his chest, breathing heavily. He was almost there, just one more street. Mark kept running like he would die if he stopped, but had no idea why. He only knew that he was really scared of something and that he had to go to the park. Almost there. Mark could see the park, but it looked different. The trees where bigger and way closer to each other then they used to be, it kinda looked like a dark, scary forest. Mark didn't care, he had to get in. He ran into the forest, which completely closed behind him. Then he stopped in the dark. His heart racing and almost jumping out of his chest. He slowly walked further into the woods, still filled with fear. "Jack, are you here ?" Mark talked soft. He had no idea why but he had the feeling Jack was in here. "JACK ! WHERE ARE YOU !" Mark shouted desperately. "Mark !" Mark heard a distant voice in front of him. "JACK !" Mark never felt so happy. He found him. Mark started running in the direction of Jacks voice, which kept coming closer. "MARK !" Jack ran out of the close trees into Mark. Mark hugged Jack closely and didn't let go. Jack hugged back. "Why are you here? What is this forest?" Jack let go of Mark and looked at him. "I don't know but we have to get out of here!" Mark looked at Jack. The happy feeling he had before returned slowly. "No, we're fine. As long as we're together we're fine." Mark didn't know why he said this. Usually he didn't even dare to think these things, just in case Jack could read his mind. "Mark, we really need to go!" But Mark didn't let go of Jack, scared that someone would take him. "Alright, let's go then." Mark sounded happy and Jack was clearly happy to hear this. "Where do we have to go, Jack ?" Jack looked at Mark in a terrified way. "You-you know where to go, right ?" Jack said in a soft voice. The fear came back. Mark knew they had to get out, but how. The trees all looked the same and there was no light to be seen. "Let's... let's just go that way." Mark said, unsure about this decision. They started walking. Mark still didn't let go of Jacks hand. He had the horrible feeling that, if he let go, Jack would just disappear. They kept walking and their fear grew. "Mark, let go of me. Your hands are sweaty." Jack sounded not scared at all anymore. "No." Mark sounded concerned and serious. "I'm not a little kid, Mark." Jack tried to pull his hand away. Mark looked at him, but didn't let go. " I have the feeling that we should stick together." Mark said, looking straight into Jacks eyes. "We can stick together if you let go !" Jack sounded irritated. Mark didn't like it. Jack usually was so happy and enthusiastic, but he didn't act like that at all. "But..." Mark didn't finish the sentence. Jack had pulled his hand out of Marks and looked satisfied. "Let's go." Marks fear became even worse. Jack walked away and he tried to stay with him. When they had walked for a while, Mark was exhausted. "Can we stop for a minute pleas." Mark sat down with his back to a tree. Jack sat down on the opposite side of him. They sat there a little and looked at each other. Then Jack got up, but Mark was still tired. "Jack, what are you doing?" Jack started walking without answering Mark. "Jack ?" Marks fear got even worse, but he didn't get up. Why didn't he get up?! He tried with all his might, but his body didn't react. "JACK, COME BACK !" Mark felt helpless. Jack turned around with a blank face. "I will never love you Mark. Goodbye." And he turned around and kept walking. "JACK NO ! COME BACK ! WE'LL STAY FRIENDS! PLEAS !" Mark started to cry. He tried with all his might to move, to run after Jack, but he couldn't. "Mark ?" He heard a women say. "Come on Mark." Mark slowly saw the world fade in front of his eyes. He was still crying. "Mark! " Then the whole world had disappeared and he opened his eyes."There you are !" A girl was standing next to the bed. "You where screaming and crying! What where you dreaming about ?!" Mark couldn't place the face, probably because his sight was blurry. He blinked a few times and his sight became clearer. "Madora?" Mark knew that face. It was Madora, also an agent at the SDOS, and the only one who called him Mark instead of sharpshot. "Finally you're awake! You've been unconscious for 2 days!" Mark slowly sat up. He had a horrible headache. "Really ?" Mark looked at Madora and tried to focus on her face. "You'll have to tell me what you dreamed about later. Mr Credrickson needs to speak to you." Mark nodded. "Can I have some food first? I'm starving !" Madora smiled. Sure I'll get you something." she walked away. Mark had to calm down after his dream. His cheeks were still wet from his tears and his heart was still racing, but the desperate feeling to move wasn't there anymore. Just after at least twenty minutes, after he ate all his food, he started to wonder what his boss had to say.
