New chapter for you guys!!! I hope you like it. I don't have that much inspiration and I'm kinda sick so it takes way to long to update. Sorry for that. Love you all!!! Bye bye !
Mark's POV
We've been flying for a while now. Jack is sleeping on my shoulder. I had pulled him closer to me and he cuddled up to me. I look out of the window behind Jack. I see clouds, loads of clouds. "It looks like we're flying in a world of cotton candy!" Jack had said. I smile. It did indeed look like cotton candy. I feel warm inside. The butterflies have calmed down and made place for a nice, warm feeling. I lay my head down on top op Jack's. He makes a little sound. I slowly rub his arm and he gets even closer to me. I get back up a little and look at Jack. Suddenly, my worries kick back in. They'll find us, I know that, but I'll make sure they'll never get to Jack. They'll never get him, not as long as I live. They can kill me, but they'll never get the most pure and innocent soul on this world. The funniest and sweetest person I'll ever know. The only person I really love. I'm gonna make sure you're safe, Jack. I have no idea how, but I'll save you.
After a while, Jack woke up again. I had been talking to Liz for a while. She's a really nice person. Izzy also tried to get me back next to her, but I'm not stupid. She had some pour attempts, but they failed.
Jack lifted his head and slowly sat back up with sleepy eyes and messy hair. He was even hotter now. With a raspy voice he asked me how long we still had to fly. "About half an hour, I think." I answer. Jack nodded and tried to keep his eyes open. He looks so cute. Oh of course, the butterflies had to make their return. He slowly looks around and then looks back at me. "I'm hungry. Do we have food?" He says with a sleepy voice. I giggle a little at his sleepiness. "I'll buy something for you." I say while looking at the path in between the seats. I see a stewardess walking around, selling different kinds of snacks. I wave at her so she'll come over. She comes closer with a friendly smile. "What would you like ?" She asked nicely. I look at Jack, who seems to have woken up by the sight of food. He looked at it like it was the hottest person he'd ever seen. "I'd like the blue M&M's please." Jack answered friendly, but I heard the impatience in his voice. I bought two bags of M&M's and the stewardess leaves.Jack tried to grab his bag of M&M's out of my hands, but I saw it coming and put it out of his reach. Seeing as food and death where the only things Jack took very seriously, he looked me straight in the eyes and said in a scary calm voice;" Give me the food, Mark." It sounded like those people in movies asking for something that was so important, they'd kill for it. Jack would probably kill for food, so that was pretty realistic. I smile a little in an evil way. "Why ? I bought it." I say like the bad guy in a story. Jack's eyes pierced trough me. He wasn't playing, he was dead serious. "Give. Me. The. Food." He said, still with the scary calm voice. He suddenly didn't look so tired anymore. I was going to say something, but before I even had the chance to open my mouth, Jack had launched himself on me. He was pulling on my shoulder to get to the candy in my hand but I wouldn't just let him. I pushed him back with my other hand and kept him there with my feet. I underestimated him. He easily got out of my trap and grabbed both my arms in an iron grip. He pulled the bag out of my hand and got back to his seat. After I got back up, (Jack's attack had me half lying on the path) I look at Jack. He curled up in a little ball in his chair while eating the M&M's. He looked at me with a daring stare, like he was daring me to steal them back. I knew I would never get them back, that's why I bought two bags.
Jack and I just finished our snacks when we had to but out seat belts back on for the landing. Jack was very excited. He knows what country were going to, he doesn't know where I'm gonna take him. I'll show him everything of Paris. We'll have such a good time! I love Paris. It's beautiful! And it's the city of love of course, the romantic side of my brain brings up. No! I still shouldn't get my hopes up. Just like I mentioned before, he's straight. No chance. The plane is landing now. I hope Jack will stay with me. I hope they won't find us.
Jack's POV
The plane is finally back on the ground. We're still moving, but not flying anymore. I look out of the window. It's very sunny outside, seeing as it is around June. I feel a lot of excitement racing trough my body. I've never been in a different country in Europe then Ireland! I keep looking around. The airport is gigantic! It's a beautiful building, half made out of glass. I can't wait to see where we're going and what we're going to do! I turn around, back to Mark. He looks at me with a smile. "Are you excited, Jackaboy?" He asked. He knows the answer but I still react with a smile. He's making me happy. I'm almost forgetting everything that happened. Almost.
The nightmares are still there, even if Mark is close. I know he doesn't sleep much because he doesn't want to be attacked at night. He can handle it, he says. I don't really know what I can do about it. I've told him he has to sleep to stay sharp, but he says that he's fine. I know he's not. I've heard him cry. He cries at night, praying that we'll be safe, that I'll be safe. It tears me up, but I don't want to confront him about it. Mark is very hard and manly on the outside, but he's extremely emotional on the inside. Because of his job, I guess.
"Jack? Are you okay?" I hear Mark's voice trough my thoughts. I look up at his face. He looks back at me with a worried face. "Why do you look so sad out of a sudden? What's on your mind? You can tell me." He says, and he grabs my arms. His touch calms me. "I'm just worried. They're still after us and I'm kinda scared." I say shyly. Mark looks at me with a warm look for a moment, then pulls me into a hug. It kinda got me by surprise, but I hug back. "I'll get you to safety, Jack. I promised. And as you know, I never break promises." He whispers in my ear. I smile and hug him harder, trying to get him closer.
He let go of me when we heard that we could get off the plane. We mixed with the stream of people getting out of the plane and walk into the sunny weather. I look around a bit more. I see a lot of people walking around. "This is awesome!" I say to no one in particular. "I know right." I hear Mark's voice behind me. I turn around and smile. Mark stook out his hand and looked at me. I doubt for a second, but then grab his hand and we walk with the other people to the building. My body lights up by Mark's touch. I feel warm and safe.
Mark kept me close while walking, like he was scared that I'd disappear if he let go. I didn't mind it though. I stayed close to Mark with all my love. We talked about what we're going to do, actually, I was guessing and Mark wouldn't tell me. We got our stuff and had to get on a train. Of course Mark wouldn't tell me what train because I would know where we'd be going. After walking for 15 minutes, we arrive at the station and sit down to wait for the train to arrive. I lean on Mark's shoulder. "Mark ?" "Hmm?" "Did you ever really love someone?" I asked before I realized what I said, but I couldn't go back and I don't regret asking. He was silent for a bit, then answered. "In what way ?" "Like in a relationship. Love love you know." Mark was silent again. "Yeah. I love love someone actually." I feel a cold feeling spreading trough my body. It hurts. Mark loves someone already. I wanna move, but I can't. I wanna cry, but I can't. I'm just frozen in my position."How about you?" I hear him ask. It took me a while before I realized I had to answer. Without thinking I said: "So do I." There's a short silence. "I hope you'll be with that person one day." Mark says. I hope so too, but I know it's impossible.
