It was 5 AM. Mark and Jack had been driving for the past 6 hours and Jack was almost asleep. He had his leaning on the window and his eyes closed. Mark was still driving and had his eyes focused on the road and on his mirrors. They couldn't have Tobias following them. They had gone through loads of villages and city's, but Mark wanted to go further. They couldn't take any risk. It was for Jacks safety. Nothing could go to far for Mark if it meant saving Jack. He kept his eyes fixed on the road, hoping to see a little village. They where gonna stop there and they'll spent the night in a hotel or something. Mark smiled while thinking back to Jacks joke when they started driving. "It's gonna be fine. I'll save you. I promise I will." Mark whispered. Jack made a growling sound. He was asleep. Mark looked at Jack for a while, but was forced to put his eyes back on the road if they didn't want to crash.
After another hour of driving, Mark finally found a little village with a hotel. He didn't wake up Jack jet. If they had to leave again, Jack could better stay asleep. Mark locked his car with Jack inside. He had bulletproof windows, so he was sure no one could hurt him. He had also put a blanket over Jack to keep him warm, and Jack fell asleep with his hood up.
Mark walked into the hotel and looked around. It didn't look extremely fancy, but it definitely didn't look bad. Mark walked to the info desk and looked around. He didn't see anyone, but the door he came trough was open, so they couldn't be closed. "Hello?" Mark said. Not too loud, he didn't want any more problems. "Someone there ?" Mark was about to walk away and already turned around, when he heard footsteps behind him. He turned back to the info desk and saw a young women. "How can I help you sir?" She sounded very nice. "Do you maybe have a room for two, with separate beds ?" The girl thought for a moment and grabbed a list to check. "No, sorry sir. We do have rooms for two with one kingsized bed." Mark thought about it. He wouldn't mind sleeping in the same bed as Jack, but how would Jack think about it. Well actually, he'd probably just fall asleep. "We'll take that room then. For one night please."
After Mark got the key to the room, he walked outside to get Jack, who was still fast asleep in the car. Mark unlocked the doors and slowly opened the one to the drivers seat. He couldn't open the one to Jacks seat, Jack would fall out of the car. "Hey, Jackaboy, I've found us a hotel." He softly shaked Jacks arm. Jack growled and opened his eyes. "That's nice." Jack sounded extremely tired and annoyed. Jack wasn't a person you should wake up without a reason. "I'll grab our stuff, let's go." Jack slowly got out of the car into the cold morning air. He walked after Mark, who had all their stuff with him, to the hotel.
When the girl had brought them to their room, Mark put down their baggage and sat down on the bed. "We have to sleep in one bed together?" Jack looked at Mark in a confused way. "Yeah, they didn't have one with separate beds. Sorry. If you really don't wanna sleep in a bed together, I'll go sleep on the couch." But Jack shook his head. "Nah, we'll just sleep with separate blankets." And like Mark expected, Jack was already falling asleep. "Jackaboy, you should change your clothes." Mark said with a smile. "Fine." Jack sounded like a really dramatic teenager who had to clean his room. Mark grabbed all their stuff and moved it to the bedroom. Mark was looking for his sleeping shirt and turned around to see Jack in only his underwear. Mark made a weird, high sound, which caught Jacks attention. Mark was standing there, frozen with his shirt in his hands. "Mark...... are you okay ?" Jack approached Mark and looked at him with his head slightly to the right. "You look....... impressed." Mark woke up from his little dreamworld and quickly took a step back. "Yeah I'm fine. I.... I just thought about something." Mark said with red cheeks while looking down. He tried really hard to hide his face. "I... it's nothing. Don't worry about it." Mark turned around. He looked in the mirror on the wall, but he didn't look at himself. He looked at Jack who was standing there shirtless. He loved Jacks body. It was perfect. He really wanted to hug Jack right now. He wondered how kissing him would feel like. He wondered how Jack was thinking about him. Jack was done with changing and Mark realized that he should change too. He pulls of his clothes and stood there in his underwear when he noticed Jack looking at him. Mark looked at Jack. Their eyes met for a second and Jack looked back at his phone. Mark felt a warm feeling glowing inside him. He put on his shirt and sat down on the bed next to Jack. He got under his blanket and got comfy next to Jack. Mark fell asleep pretty quick because he had loads of fresh dreams to get through the night.
In the middle of a really nice make out scene in his dream, he felt someone shaking his arm. Mark opened his eyes, feeling grumpy because of the interrupted dream. He looked at his right arm and saw that Jack was holding on to it. He cried. His face was red and his eyes where still watery. "Jack ?! What's wrong ?!" Mark said softly. He didn't want to wake up people. "I had nightmares. I can't sleep. I'm so scared they're gonna find us Mark. What if they do? What can we do against that?" Tears started running his face again and Mark didn't hesitate a moment to grab Jack and pull him in a hug. "Shhh. It's gonna be alright. I will save you, I promise. I'll give everything for you. It's gonna be fine." Mark was holding Jack while going trough his hair with his hand and patting his back. Jack was crying again and sobbed heart breaking. Mark kept whispering calming thing while patting Jack on his back and holding him. Jack was now lying on top of Marks chest and slowly calmed down by Marks calming voice and touch. " I promise I'll save you. Nothing and no one is gonna take you away from me." Mark kept patting Jacks back and he rested his other hand on Jacks head. "I'm so glad I decided to trust you." Jacks said softly before falling asleep. Marks warm feeling got even better. He put both his arms around Jack and whispered: "you're mine and I'll protect you till my death." They fell asleep.
