When Tragedy Strikes (Fem!Kaneki x Amon) *Watty's 2017*

The Chase Begins

Kaneki watched the injured Investigator for a moment before she took off towards her awaiting battle. I couldn't lead these heathens to the kind Investigator.. I must protect him.

She soon reached the investigators who were searching for her, only a few blocks from where she just was. The blood of Ghouls and Humans alike lingered in the air, once again igniting her festering hunger.

She felt herself being drawn down from the rooftop, like she had no control over her body. She was just a bystander to her hunger driven body at this point. She beat them all to the ground, rendering them unconscious.

All except the one man in her grasp. She slowly unzipped her mask and brought his forearm to her drooling mouth, but before she could take a bite from him a voice reached her.

Amon had to reach her before she got hurt. The encounter which the snow-haired beauty confessed she didn't want to eat humans anymore replayed over and over in the Injured Dove's mind.

When he finally found her she was a second away from taking a chunk from his subordinate's arm. "EYEPATCH, NO!" She froze and then glanced at him. "Why are you here?" She whispered in a broken voice.

The wounded Investigator that she was clinging to weakly spoke, "A-Amon, run! She's dangerous." Kaneki glared daggers at the Dove before dropping him. "Amon, is it? You shouldn't have come here. Your fellow Dove so bluntly pointed out that I am a danger to you. So why would you come here, unarmed and injured, knowing this fact?"

He took a moment to digest what she had said before answering. "I know you are in pain and I just want to help you."

Amon reached out a hand to her, her gaze instantly softened, but before she could respond the dove she had a hold of bashed her over the head with his quinque.

And the half ghoul's world went dark...
