When Tragedy Strikes (Fem!Kaneki x Amon) *Watty's 2017*

Begin the feast of Ghouls!

Kaneki was mindlessly bussing tables at Anteiku as usual. Her quaint reverie is brought to a halt when a very flashy man in a bright red suit makes a very dramatic entrance.

Touka is visibly on edge once this flamboyant man enters the scene. "My dear Touka! How lovely to see you again," glancing Kaneki's way he smirks devilishly, "and who might this charming raven be?"

Kaneki fidgets uncomfortably as Touka very obviously grimaces. "None of your damn business, Tsukiyama. If you're going to harass our staff don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!"

Tsukiyama approaches Kaneki and pulls a single blue rose from his lapel. He offers it to her with a bow. Not knowing what else to do she cautiously accepts "Until we meet again my lady." And with that melodramatic gesture he leaves swiftly.

Kaneki glances over at Touka and immediately blanches. "What the hell was that? He's bad news! Do not get mixed up with that guy. For your own sake." Nodding her understanding Kaneki finished up her daily tasks and made her way to her classes.

During lunch Kaneki is sitting at a picnic table with her favorite book in one hand, and a "special" coffee in the other. She feels at peace for the first time in months.

Her peace doesn't last though because sure enough Tsukiyama approaches and brings her back to reality. *"Enchanté de vous rencontrer ma dame Raven"

Cocking her head she looks over to see Tsukiyama in all his true flamboyant glory. He chatters on about nothing at all, noticing her lack of engagement he starts talking about Kaneki's favorite author. "Oh yes yes of course I know her! As a matter of fact I can take you to a quiet little book store she frequents. Tonight if you'd like?"

Kaneki ponders his offer, she unknowingly twirls her short raven colored hair in between her fingers. This gives Tsukiyama a very strong whiff of her intoxicating scent. He knew without a doubt he needed to lure her in somehow or another.

"What do you say, My lady? Will you accompany me?" He grins as soon as she reluctantly nods. "**Très bon! I will escort you after your classes conclude for the day. Until then! ***Au revoir." He kisses her hand and leaves her to her thoughts.

True to his word Tsukiyama is waiting at the gates of Kamii university. They walked in comfortable silence all the way to this very busy book store in the 20th ward. They browsed and made conversation but Kaneki's author did not show, much to her disappointment.

"I'm sorry that she was not here today. Maybe we can try again sometime soon! Let me walk you home." Not thinking much of it Kaneki agreed and followed Tsukiyama. She was lost in thought and didn't pay much mind to her surroundings. When she finally looked up and saw Tsukiyama bringing a cloth to her face. Soon after her world went dark.

She awoke wearing a form fitting cocktail dress and was shackled to a wall. Tried as she might Kaneki couldn't break loose. She tried calling to her ghoul side but it was radio silent. Frustrated and scared Kaneki sank to the floor letting herself be numb to her situation. Not too long after a woman wearing a waitressing outfit comes in with a tray and offers Kaneki a cup of water. Feeling her thirst claw at her throat she gulped down the water.

The woman soon left and two burly men unshackled her from the wall and walked her down a red hallway. Kaneki struggled against them but to no avail. Soon she was tossed onto the ground and finally got a good look at her surroundings. She was in the middle of a stadium filled with people in masks. She stood up and looked for a means of escape.

She was pulled out of her tactical thinking by Tsukiyama announcing her as an exquisite feast, then another large man with a meat cleaver the size of her torso entered the arena. She started backing up and panicking when he suddenly lunged for her. She evaded and got behind him. He swung around and she tried dodging but she was too late, so he knocked her into a concrete pillar.

Kaneki realized then that this was do or die. She let her instincts take over and she heard the gasps of shock and awe when they saw she was a one eyed ghoul. Tsukiyama realized how special she truly was and quickly dispatched of the guard.

Kaneki saw this as a chance to run and quickly did. She ran and ran until she ran smack dab into Yomo. He glanced at her accessing her physical state. "I'm.. I'm okay Yomo. But I think you need to be my teacher.."

A/N: Hello again my lovely readers! I know that I only slightly stuck to canon with this chapter but that's the beauty of fanfiction!
