I was practically memorized by Ely for the whole entire cooking class.
I'm surprised I even head the bell ring.
I went to English class and it was a complete snooze fest. I swear I even saw the teacher, Mr. Hicks, falling asleep.
But when the bell rang signaling school was out, I literally jumped out of my seat.
I was going to formally meet Ely, and he was going to formally meet me.
I walked to my locker and stuffed my books into it, then grabbed the stuff I need out. After I got all my stuff, I fast-walked to Mac's locker.
I probably looked like a complete and utter dork, but her locker was just around the corner and I was too excited to care.
I saw Mac putting some of her books into her locker and taking things out, putting them into her book bag/purse.
I don't know how you can fit anything into those tiny things.
I'll just stick to my purple Jansport backpack, thank you very much.
"You ready?!" I belted out with excitement in my voice.
"Calm down, we have plenty of time, god Cass." she replied laughing.
"I'm just really excited and nervous. What if I say something wrong or smile like an idiot?" I asked.
"You'll probably do both." Jess said teasingly as she walked up to Mac's locker.
"Thanks Jess, you're a big help." I replied sarcastically.
"I'm only kidding, he'll fall head over heels for you." Jess said giggling.
"Hopefully, not literally." Mac added cracking up at her own joke.
Jess and I looked at each other and busted up.
"Mac, that was probably the worst joke in history." Jess spat out between giggles.
"Oh hell no! That was a great joke!" Mac yelled.
"Alright Mac, we don't need to let the whole school know how incredibly lame your joke was." I replied laughing my head off.
"My joke was great, you guys are just not cool enough to understand it." Mac said flaunting.
"Sure, that's it." Jess said, still laughing.
"Cass, I've never see you like this." Jess added.
"Huh?" I replied. I didn't understand what she meant.
"You're acting like some sort of love sick puppy," Jess said. "I mean you've liked guys before but didn't really give a damn about it all."
She was right.
Honestly, I wasn't one of those girls who obsessed over pop stars, or lip gloss, let alone cute boys. I just liked taking a cruise on my skateboard with my head phones in.
And my style?
Band tee's and ripped skinny jeans.
I had brown hair with a couple a random streaks of purple throughout my hair, and the scene hair cut, whatever people seem call it.
I even had a nose ring, and tiny gauges. (I couldn't get my dad to agree to anything over a couple centimeters)
Jess on the other hand, was my opposite. So was Mac, but we all seemed to click.
"I don't even get what you see in him." Mac said harshly.
I sighed before replying, "I don't know either, just something about him."
