“Cyan, is that really you?” I stared at her for a long time unsure if this was real.

“YES, OF COURSE BLISS!!!” She ran up to me and jumped wrapping her arms around my neck, “Don’t cry anymore, Kai wanted me to play along...” She then whispered into my ear, “I’m so sorry.”

“Oh, Cyan, I’m just glad I never did kill you!!!” I held her up and began to spin holding her, full with excitement and relief.

“Bliss, you’re going to make me sick!” and I stopped but didn’t let her go, “Bliss, let’s go to the village, everyone is going to gather there at sunset. It’s mandatory!” Her voice was filled with excitement for some unknown reason.

“Come on, let’s go.” Kai announced then looked into my eyes, “Fiancé” He then began to walk toward the village.

“Fiancé...” I looked at Cyan as she spoke softly, “I want to be Kai’s Fiancé too...” I laughed remembering Cyan is only 6.

“Cyan we’ll both marry Kai then.” I told her softly finally realizing something, “Kai, you tricked me into believing Cyan was dead...” I walked up behind him still holding Cyan, “Why did you do that? It hurt so much...” He turned around and looked at me in shock. “What?” I asked.

“Bliss...” he walked up to us and wrapped his arm around both of us, “You don’t have to cry anymore...” I then realized the sting in my eyes and cold breeze against my wet cheeks. “Last night you came to me and gave me Cyan... You’re eyes were blood red and you’re wings reeked of fresh blood and your nails grew five inches long and they were razor sharp, but you were careful not to hurt anyone with them. Last night you didn’t kill anyone you restrained yourself and flew to the hunting grounds...” He backed up and patted my head, “you did amazing to not kill anyone for being possessed by Adze for the first time.” He smiled warmly and Cyan spoke into my ear.

“You were having fits; it was like there was another person in you... the other you wanted to kill but you wanted to keep everyone alive, and you won. You spoke to me for a little while longer to find where I lived... The other you almost won many times last night... she ran her nails down Kai’s cheek and licked his blood... She also tried to choke me but you stopped her and cried... you flew away crying... Bliss, you are not like the other purebloods, you had at least some control... You saved Kai and I, you saved the whole village!” She laughed then changed the subject, “did you open the box?”

“What box?” Kai asked kind of anxious.

“Um... Cyan gave me a box yesterday.” I showed him the box still thinking on what they said. Cyan giggled looking at Kai and I got suspicious.

“Cyan... how did you find this?” Kai forcefully asked clenching the box.

“Every night for the past three years I’d stay up at night and listen to you singing and moving around, and a week ago I found out what you have been doing.” Cyan said excited.

“Cyan...” He blushed deeply again and looked at me nervous.

“Kai, we both know who it was for, so I wanted to be the one to give it to her...” Cyan said with a weak smile looking at Kai.

“I... I was waiting for the right time...” He looked down, “I’m only 11... I wanted to wait until I was 17...” His body began to shake and I put Cyan down walking up to him.
