The darkness just began to get eerie when my eyes snapped open to a bright living world.  Where am I? I asked myself sitting up. I shook my head and blocked the sunlight with my hand as I looked around. I’ve never been this far out into the world Labyrinth and I knew this because a strange silent stream marked our borders and right now I was on the hunting side. Crap, if I’m found I’ll be killed for sure! I stood up and began to run to the other side when another thought came across, Wait... they can’t kill me... I laughed and turned around walking deeper into the hunting grounds.

I’ve over heard hunters speak of this beautiful waterfall... when the water is frozen it basically becomes a mirror. I’ve never seen one in my life but Cyan told me that there’s a person that looks exactly like you and shadows your moves. The thought of it kind of creeps me out, what is that person even doing there? How big is this mirror? I shrug it off and continue walking when suddenly I lose my balance and slip. I fall on my butt and begin to stand up again to only slip again. I kept attempting to stand and started to get paranoid about being possibly cursed. Crap! I can’t be cursed! I need to find this waterfall and go back!!! I bit my lower lip finally realizing this constant loud sound. It was calming. I closed my eyes and listened to it, it was like when the waves crashed onto the rocks, just steady and continuous. I opened my eyes and looked up to my left and saw the waterfall, it’s just how I have imagined it to be.

“... Beautiful...” I said under my breath.

“You’re beautiful, Bliss.” A voice said from behind. I jumped on my feet and slipped again face planting onto a cold surface …a rock? The voice laughed, “You’re on Ice. Here let me help you up.” I looked up and saw a hand reaching for me.

“NO!” I slapped the hand away frightened and quickly began to stand up but I paused staring down at another living thing.

“Bliss, are you okay?” the faceless voice asked concerned but I couldn’t find a way to look from this suspicious person underneath me. “Bliss, are you looking at you’re reflection?”

“What’s a reflection?” I ask, not taking my eyes off this creature in which stares back me... moving its lips like my own.

“It’s the person in the ice” the… stranger responded with a chuckle, “I can’t see her, what does she look like?”

“She has light skin... freckles I think... beautiful blue eyes, like the sea... Long wavy light brown hair... stunning white teeth and straight too! Oh... she has sharp fangs and dark red wings! She’s beautiful... but I hate her, I don’t know her yet she copies my every move... I want to punch her...” I smirked at the though and leaned my upper body weight on my left hand and raised my right fist ready to punch her, and I suddenly felt threatened when she did the exact same.

“BLISS DON’T!” but it was already too late. My hand hurt so much and I began to bleed. “Idiot, it’s you’re reflection; it’s you, on the ice...” the stranger began wrapping my right hand with a piece of light brown cloth.

“Thank you” I said under my breath and looked at him for the first time. My face suddenly felt warm as I stared at Kai. “K-Kai...!”

“You’re cute when you blush” he said with a smile. His straight black hair reached his shoulders; he had bangs that covered his left eye and his eyes are bright red. He and Cyan both have straight white teeth and no fangs… no wings. Kai is 5’4 and hunts for a living, so he has an amazing hot body. I’ve known Kai for 9 years; his mother took care of me before she became sick when Cyan was born. We met near my home, on the beach; he was hopelessly lost of course and I helped him find his mom, that’s when I met her, Larissa.
