Recap;
'Guys! If anyone smuggles in some chocolate i will put in some good words for the doctor' I said and they nodded before running away.
I grinned and mom said 'are you ready?'
I gulped and said 'bring it Ponies, because nobody can fix my unfixable heart.'
Adena's POV.
'Mum I don't feel so well' I said weakly then coughed harshly, she bolted from her bed and patted my back before rubbing it. Naila had fallen asleep on the couch which made this a lot better, because it wasn't worth explaining to her. My eyes started water thinking of her, because I had to put on a smile when she was awake. Mum kissed my forehead and helped me stand up. I pushed myself into the wheel chair and she pushed me towards the bathroom. I stood up a little tipsy and weak from all the medicine. And walked in before giving mum a grateful smile and shut the door. I sat on the toilet breathing harshly.
I got away from all of that in here; it was one of the only places I could go without mum stressing here and the downstairs garden I had found. My chest ached and my eyes were puffy from sleeping. I had nausea and headaches every hour on the hour. All symptoms that Doc were trying to fix. I got up and turned on the tap, letting the cold water run over my hands. I looked myself in the mirror and my cheeks had been pushed in plus m my lips had shrunk. I had bags under my eyes and was slouched. I splashed some water over my really pale face. I then opened the door and sat back down in the wheel chair. She was pushing me to my bed when 4 interns busted in on their check-ups. They gave me weak smile and took me off my mother's hands; Sally pushed me to my bed and helped me onto it.
'How are you feeling?' She asked grabbing her notepad and pen.
'Pretty Stuffed up, you?' I replied making her smile again. Her blond pixie cut hair curled and foundation on her face covered some but not all the lines of worry, she was at least 25 maybe 26.
'She won't answer you properly' Mum said shaking her head but smiling slightly. That's when purple bottle boy spoke up and said 'Can we ask you?'
Mum nodded and Carter a 21 year old medium brown hair girl asked mum some questions.
Mum stopped her and said 'She's developed a nasty cough and has been vomiting every 30 minutes, head ache on the hour has become more harmful, her eyes a slightly drooping and she has had really bad chest pains like umm.. .' She tried to remember so I quickly said 'Like a million knifes running up my chest then stopped at my stomach'
She nodded and the Interns gave her a satisfactory smile. 'Well the reason we are here is too get you on new medicine and give you a check-up then collect a few blood samples' Timothy said and my eyes widened. I shot mum a look and she understood then went all superior on their ass.
'Another medicine? She was put on a new one just yesterday what makes this one so different?' She snapped and fear entered the intern's eyes. Carter said 'That medicine was different since her conditions are changing, this medicine will help with the chest pains and head aches'
