Chapter Nine.

Last opponent!

Back to Kira's POV

Thunder rumbled as we reach our final destination. 'Here lies out last opponent..'

"Okay guys , that is a spooky watch tower." Kuwabara mutters. "The last beast should be on the top floor." Kurama informs. "Then let's climb some stairs." Yusuke says as he steps forward. Beside the tower though , were two tunnels , one on each sides. Some monsters , green skinned with yellowish locks of hair. Their appearance were much Zombie-like. Several of them began gathering , coming forward towards us. 

"Hey , who are those people?" Kuwabara points at them looking weird out. They kept coming out , groaning and moaning. Their number increased. 

"What ever they are there sure are a lot of them! It's gonna take us about a year to beat 'em all!" Kuwabara retorts. "Yes considering our time restrains this could be a real problem." Kurama adds , looking at them with furrowed eye brows. "I've had dealings with Cultivated Humans before , they do not feel pain or fear." Hiei fills in. "Stupid monster humans trying to slow us down , I'll blow them all with my Spirit Gun!" Yusuke says lifting his fist up in the air towards the Zombie like monsters. 

Kurama went beside him , putting a hand over his shoulder making Yusuke stop. "Let's use our heads." He says to him sternly. "What? You want us to headbutt them?!" Yusuke says and I think he got it wrong. I sweat drop. 

"It's not wise to waste your Spirit Power , the more impatient we are , the more mistakes we'll make." Kurama advises. "Well how is headbutting gonna help?! My Shot Gun is the only way we're gonna get passed 'em!" 

"No." We hear Hiei speak up. We look at him. "Set your eyes on the first tower window." He said to us , and we did as told. "That is your door." 

"Well I'm sorry Mr. Mysterious but as it turns out I forgot to bring my Pogo-Stick!" Yusuke strikes again with his smart ass comments. "Yeah! How do you expect us to jump that high!" Kuwabara agrees. "I'll need you to listen closely." Hiei said before spilling us the plan.

Well , it's worth the shot. Kuwabara starts off , followed by Kurama. Yusuke sighs and before Hiei runs off , he shoots me a look. After Yusuke runs off I take my cue.

A little idea pops in my head. I should probably not. He'll probably kill though. I giggle to myself. I run past Yusuke , getting next to Hiei. He shot me a glance which I returned with a smile and a giggle. He looks a bit confused. 
In slow motion , as I ran , I brought up my hand to his spiky hair , and ran my fingers through it as I shot him a playful wink with a smirk. I know I'm crazy , but eh I like boy's hair. 

I could see Hiei's eyes widen and he looked at me in shock as if I was crazy as he opened his mouth. Before he could do anything , I continued running past him. I made it all the way and passed in Kurama then Kuwabara. I went and took out my sword , swinging it at all of the demons , clearing Kuwabara's way. I killed them off , as Kuwabara stood in his stance and waited for the others. "All right! Let 'er rip!" He said getting ready. I put my sword back in it's sheath.

Kurama was first , as he jumped and landed on his shoulders. Next was Hiei who jumped on Kuwabara's back before getting on Kurama's shoulders. Last , was Yusuke who also jumped on Kuwabara's back and after that on Kurama's , then Hiei's. He jumped in the air to reach the window. 

Hiei and Kurama flew away swiftly landing on their feet. Now it's all up to you , Yusuke! 

I glance over at poor Kuwabara. "Are you alright?" I ask with sympathy as I sweat drop a little. He nods. "Yeah." He looks up at Yusuke to see him holding out the windowsill , practically half the way there. He at least made it! Just a little more!

"We did it!" Kuwabara smiles cheering. "Ha! Remind me to try up for the cheer leading squad! You guys have fun with Veggie-Heads!" Yusuke says with a smile. "Don't die on me okay!" "Be careful!" I also shout. Yusuke gives us a thumbs up before disappearing. 

More Cultivated Humansappeared. "Hiei! More is coming up!" I warn him as he was standing next to me. "Poor guys , I'm gonna feel bad kicking your butts!" Kuwabara says and charges , hitting them. I also act quick and punch some of them and kick , but they gather up , and Hiei comes with his sword , killing them off. He helped alongside me , and they increased even more , leaving us to end up back to back.
