Chapter Seven.

Byakko , the traitor.

After Kurama defeated Genbu (Sorry for the skip guys) he went out from the fight with a wound. "Kurama , how terrible is that wound?" Yusuke asked. "Fine , as long as I can walk." He answers. "He'll survive , but he is in no shape to fight. That means we have only four fighters , and one of them is worthless." Hiei says , causing Kuwabara to make a smart ass remark. "Hey , don't be so hard on yourself , Short-Stuff."

"You're such an idiot you didn't even catch on on. He meant you." I said. "Yeah!" Yusuke nods. Kuwabara looks at Yusuke. "Is that so?!" He retorts. "Then maybe I should show you something." He says and stands out straight in front of us. "What do you think I've been doing in those last six months while you were on training with Genkai? Letting you get better than me? Nu-uh!" He says to Yusuke and forms out a sword out of his own energy , shouting 'Spirit Sword.'

"Well , as it turns out he is only partially worthless." Hiei remarks and I can't help but laugh.

"Okay! Wanna die?!" Kuwabara points his energy sword at Hiei. "I dare you." Hiei smirks.

"Stop this you guys." I say. "Hey Kira?" We hear Kurama suddenly say. "Yes ,Kurama?" I reply. By now Kuwabara calmed down and all were looking at me and Kurama as I stood in front of him. "You did not tell us what you meant by 'taking revenge on Byakko , one of the Saint Beasts'." He says calmly , but curiously. I sigh. "Alright." I began. "Kurama , Byakko is the reason I disappeared for those ten years.." I said , hearing Yusuke and Kuwabara gasp. Hiei remained silent and Kurama looked surprised. "How so?" He asks confused.

"I've made a deal with him once. The deal was I could see my parents if I succeed in a mission. I did succeed in it , but he betrayed me." I growled. "He tricked me. After I finished the mission ,he came to me and caught me by surprise and held me by the neck in a death grip , and I could not do anything , he had such filthy big strong hands , he could've snapped my neck. He was in control of me..He had put me in a container that was specifically made for me , to freeze me to death. He had even reached the point of stripping me naked before throwing me in there." I explained and his eyes widened. "What?" Kurama and Hiei said. "It is true. We did find her..naked.. when we first found her." Yusuke nervously rubbed the back of his head with a blush.
"Just as he threw me inside , I took the pill you gave me in my mouth. I hadn't realized that it would get up to 10 years for someone to find me.. but I guess it couldn't be helped." I looked up at him. "You probably think I'm weak.. don't you?" I trailed off , looking down. "Not at all. Don't think that , Kira." He said, as I kept looking down. I got angry at myself. "But.. you don't understand. I've felt so weak. I couldn't do anything. I had came to realize he was in control of me when had a grip on me , he did something to me that made me useless. I wasted 10 years of my life because of him.." I growled in frustration with my hand in a fist. I suddenly felt him put his hand on my shoulder. "You're not weak." He said softly to me. I looked up at his green emerald eyes. "Yes I am! Even Hiei think I'm weak!"
That made Hiei speak up. "I did not know the reason , you fool. I thought you ran off , or some other reason. But after hearing what have happened , I don't think your act was weak. In fact , that was smart thinking. You were smart to make yourself disappear for an amount of time instead of letting someone end your life." Hiei smirked while he had his arms crossed.
Every one was shocked with him. Even me. Kurama smiled to himself. I blinked at him several times , then came to a point where I smiled at him. "I..." I was lost for words somehow. "Thanks." I closed my eyes , still smiling. "Hn."

"Now let us go , who knows , maybe we'll stumble upon this Byakko next." Yusuke said grinning at me. I grinned back. "Hn. Maybe you'll prove and show us how strong you are then." Hiei comments.

I nod. "You will see."

Suddenly , we heard a loud roar. It made the walls crack. "That's Byakko.. and he doesn't sound very pleased." Kurama said in worry. "Let's go!" Yusuke said and we ran off , the building's around us collapsing.

We reached were Byakko was. I frowned as I saw him. Anger filling me.

"Intruders will pay for coming this far to my territory." He let out a roar. "It's huge!" Kuwabara exclaimed in fright. "It's a pity they don't have him in a zoo." Yusuke said a smart ass remark. 'Heh , he's right though.'
