Chapter 23: Scavenger/Promise

Amaya's POV:

"Hey Ama! Come here!" Yelled my oh so lovely boyfriend, Liam, from what sounds like, the kitchen..

I hopped out of my roll chair in front of my office desk. I trudged lazily into the kitchen. (Liam's at the girls' place still. The others left) "Yes babe?" I asked. When I looked around he wasn't there. Hmmmmm. I looked to the counter and saw a note. Okay???

I went over and picked it up. It read:

"Hey Ama!

I figured it was about time to do something special for you. Now this is like a scavenger hunt, but different, okay?

Now go to the bedroom, there you'll find a dress, sandals, and a note. xx" Okay.... AWHHH this is so cute!!

I put the note back and walked into the room. There on the bed was a beautiful sundress and a pair of gladiators. The sundress was a slight blue-purple and the gladiators were silver. On top was a note that read:

"Ah ha! You found the second clue. Good job babe! Okay, now put the outfit on then continue reading." I set the note down and proceeded to do what it said. "Now that you're dressed you have to do something. Take a picture of yourself in the mirror and send it to me. I'll give your next clue then! xx" Okay then... I picked up my phone and went to the mirror. I took a picture and sent it to him.

A few minutes later he replied:

"From: LiLi<3

You look beautiful! Now go down to the pool. There will be a guy dressed in white. You cannot and will not see his face. xx"

I text back a quick okay and headed down to the pool. In there was a guy just like he said, holding white roses. I walked up to him and he handed me the flowers. I pulled the note out and opened it.

"Babe, you're almost done! Go back up to the flat and into the sitting room. In there you'll find... Oh just go! It's a surprise. xx" I laughed at his silliness. I grabbed the flowers and headed back up to the flat.

I walked in and headed to the sitting room. When I walked in, I was speechless. There were flower petals and a blanket where the coffee table once sat. I walked in a little more and gasped. Liam walked in from the side door. Oh and the intriguing part. He's wearing a white tux.

"Hello Beautiful." He says walking towards me. I was speechless. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the blanket. We just stood there staring at each other. Finally he broke the silence.

"Amaya, I know this is the first time I have told you this, but I love you. I'm not proposing, seeing as we've only been together for about 3-4 weeks, but I want you to make me a promise. A promise that no matter what happens we'll be together. I love you to much to lose you." He paused and pulled out a rectangular box, "Now, I didn't get you a ring because people would make stuff of it, but a necklace." He opened it and inside was a beautiful necklace. It was studded with diamonds. In the middle was a heart with the words 'Limaya Forever' engraved on it.

I giggled at the writing on it. Cheesy.

"So will you, Amaya Jolie Beltran, promise me?" He asked grinning at my reaction. I couldn't say anything so I just nodded. That's when I noticed the tears.

"I-I love you to Liam. So much!!" He turned me around and placed it perfectly on my collarbone. I looked down at the loose hanging necklace on my neck and smiled. "It's beautiful LiLi!!" I said while turning around. He wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap mine around his neck.

"Not as beautiful as you." He whispered leaning in slowly.

"You're so cheesy." I say right before he crashes his lips into mine.

When we pull away he whispered. "I love you." I smiled and whispered back.

"I love you, too."
