MICHAEL'S POV

I hung up the phone and got out of bed to put my shoes back on, I glanced out the window to try and see something but my surroundings were barely lit, especially compared to Sydney which was always so bright and moving. After pulling my shoes on I went to my jacket and pulled that on too. I went to grab my phone off my bedside table and my eyes locked on my pack of cigerettes and I grabbed them too.

I walked out of my room and my mom was asleep on the coach, my dad was probably asleep in their bedroom. So it was pretty easy for me to walk right out of my house and the few blocks to the park. The trees around me blew, and their movement was accentuated by the low lit streetlights; left, right, left, right and with each move leaves flew off falling to the earth. This is definitely my favorite seaosn, Autumn.

I sat down on a swing and just rocked back and forth like the trees in the air as I waited, checking the time every two minutes or so. I sat on that swing for twenty minutes before I gave up standing up and beginning to walk back. She probably decided not to come, she's too much of a good gir-

"Michael?" Autumn's soft whisper cut off my thoughts and I flipped around to see Autumn walking near me, leaves falling around her from the air and I couldn't help but smile.

"Autumn." I repeated her name, just as I had in my head and walked back to where I once sat waiting for her.

When we got to each other we hugged, as if we had known each other for years and I smiled as she started to speak, "I'm sorry I took so long. I had to sneak out of my house, and I think I really hurt my ankle." I looked down with a small giggle.

I glanced down at her ankle which was exposed since she was wearing flats and leggings, I could tell it was swollen, "That's not good, how'd you do that?"

"I jumped from my roof." She laughed and my eyes widened.

"You jumped off your roof?!" I exclaimed and she just giggled more before taking my hand to walk us over to the swings so she could sit down. I twisted her swing and brought her leg up onto my thigh and examined her ankle, "You shouldn't have walked all this way with your ankle swollen like this."

She shrugged innocently, "Well I wanted to see you, and it was the only way out of my bedroom." Now she crossed her arms when I gave her a concerned look, "Hey I did it to see you!"

I lifted her foot off my leg and gently placed it on the ground, "And I wanted to see you too but I didn't jump off a roof to do it!" I laughed and Autumn just held her arms in a crossed position, "Stop pouting."
