So I was tagged by PolkaDotLover16 to write a thing about how I see myself in ten years. It sounded pretty cool, so I wrote a blurby-thing. I'm tagging nekojessi99 MagicxWand EndTheCliche DontMakeMeAMurderer (P.S. If you don't want to do this, that's fine. I don't want to bother you!)

Uh...yeah. Here it is.

I'm sitting on the floor, my shmancy new laptop flipped open on my lap. It's 2:10 AM and moonlight pours through the open windows. My aparment's pretty bare, other than a plastic table, a few boxes, and a desk. I'm still too cheap to buy furniture. Empty coffee cups sit lie in a neat circle around me, and I'm sipping my fifth pumpkin spice latte, pretty hyped. I blast a metal song from my knock-off ipod and scream along the lyrics. My fingers are flying. I'm engaged in an online chat, putting off posting on Twitter, editing my twenty-something-eth novel, and trying really, really hard not to cry because editing is still a thing that exists in 2026.

An email arrives. I open it. It's the proof for the newest online Damsel[ed] comic, and I squeal, scrolling through the artwork. My drunk bestfriend knitting in the corner shouts for me to shut up and I roll my eyes, grin, and crank up the music.

So yeah. That felt really weird to write. Uh, welcome to my cringey fantasies xD. (Well, I mean, minus the drunk best friend knitting in the corner. I don't know where that came from. XD)

I hope in ten years I'll be a career novelist, writing from New York City. I also hope I can adapt Damsel[ed] or another one of my works into a manga, western comic series, or something else with visuals like an animated show or movie. Yeppers. That's about it.
