Around 10:00 Adam's eyes popped open and he couldn't move. He looked next to him on the opposite side of the couch only to find Christina asleep. He then looked down to see what was preventing him from moving. Brook was laying across Adam's lap. She was leaning her head against his chest with her arms wrapped around him. He felt bad that Christina was alone. Adam didn't want to wake his daughter but he had to find a way to get up. He decided to carry Brooklyn around until he came up with another idea. Christina then woke up and saw Adam pacing back and forth.
"What are you doing?" She asked very confused. Adam put a finger to his lip which signaled her to be quite. He then turned so Chris could see that her daughter was still fast asleep. She could almost feel her heart melting at how adorable the four year old was when she was sleeping. Brook looked very similar to Adam when he was sleeping. Christina smiled at the thought.
"She looks just like you." Adam smiled as Chris walked by him. "Is that a good thing?" He questioned, following his ex into the kitchen. "Of course." She placed a kiss on both Adam's and Brook's cheeks then started digging through the fridge. Brooklyn was having the greatest dream about unicorns, her dad and a mystery lady until a loud ring caused her to wake up. Brook could tell she was definitely not in her bed but she had woken up like this many times. Her head rested on her father's shoulder while she sat on his hip. Her arms were tightly wrapped around him and she had no intention of letting go. Brook kept her eyes closed for a second longer while she listened to Adam's conversation. Although she could not hear the words that were coming through the phone, she could hear her father's words and the voice. On the other end was Gwen, her favorite aunt. "You guys wanna come over for dinner or something for a beginning season party?" Adam asked. He paused for a moment and Brook assumed it was because Gwen was answering. "I will text Blake and Pharrell, just make sure you come." Another pause. "Yes I will tell sleeping beauty you said hi when she wakes up, if she wakes up." Adam joked then hung up. Brook slowly opened her eyes but her father didn't seem to notice until she began poking his cheek. "Good morning babe." Adam said laughing. "Hey your awake!" Brooklyn was slightly startled by Christina's random outburst. "Hi daddy. Hi Chrissy."
Christina seemed to not like the little girls response. She wanted to hear her daughter say mommy. The response almost made Christina jealous of Adam. "Aunt Gwen is coming over?" Brook guessed as her father sat her down on the table. "Yup, so go get dressed." Adam helped his daughter down and she ran upstairs, closing the door behind her. "I should go home and change." Christina kissed Adam and left. As the door closed, Brooklyn came running down the stairs. "Chrissy left already?" She asked her father. "Yeah. She had to change but don't worry she will be back in time for dinner." Adam reassured his daughter. "Daddy, don't forget you have to go to my school on Monday." The four year old reminded Adam. "Kayla's mom is going. What about my mommy?" Adam suddenly got very nervous. He didn't know what to tell his child so he changed the subject. "I can't wait to go." Brooklyn raised her eyebrows. "We have to go shopping." Adam said, pulling her out the door.
Once they reached the closest store, Adam was surrounded by paparazzi as he helped his daughter out of her car seat. Brooklyn smiled for the cameras causing Adam to smile and laugh. He loved that his daughter was so photogenic and never created bad press. She held her father's hand tightly and skipped through the parking lot, into the store. "What do we need to get daddy?" Brook asked as she almost ran off but remembered it would make her father look like a bad dad. "Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, dip, fruit..." Adam continued with a long list as they walked around the store. Brooklyn's eyes widened when she saw a huge teddy bear, almost the size of her. Adam seemed to notice and immediately grabbed it. He loves seeing his baby happy. "Thank you daddy." Brook clung to her father's side. At one point Adam was spotted by a fan who wanted to take pictures with him. The singer would rather spend time with his daughter but he couldn't help being nice to a fan. "Don't forget to double check daddy." Brooklyn reminded him.
"Who is coming to the party?" She questioned, carrying in her new giant teddy bear and holding the door for her father. "Aunt Gwen. Aunt Christina. "Uncle Blake and Uncle Pharrell." Brook smiled. "What time?" Adam thought for a second. "Soon."
Around 2:00 Brooklyn heard a knock at the door which caused her to run. Before she could even reach the door, Adam caught her and sat his daughter on his hip as he answered the door. "Aunt Gwen!" Brook jumped into Gwen's arms. "Hey baby." Adam and Brooklyn laughed at Gwen's reference to her song. Blake followed closely behind. "Uncle Blake!" Brook continued to jump from adult to adult as they entered. Each time she excitedly shouted there name and they greeted her with a smile. Eventually Brooklyn reached her father again. Kingston, Zuma and Apollo ran inside following Gwen. Brook hadn't even noticed them. "Brookie!" The three boys shouted in unison. She hopped down from her father's arms and ran to the backyard. Kingston, who is ten, carried Apollo who is two and walked beside Brooklyn. Zuma, the eight year old walked on the opposite side of the four year old, Brook. Zuma placed an arm on Brook's shoulder causing her to laugh and do the same. "They are sooo cute." Gwen smiled at her sons and Adam's daughter. Brooklyn left the three siblings outside and ran inside. "Love you daddy." She gave Adam a kiss then ran upstairs only to come back down seconds later in her bathing suit. Kingston handed over his little brother to their mother then ran outside. The three kids jumped into the pool together. Adam, Pharrell and Blake began barbecuing while Gwen and Christina talked and watched their kids swim. Kingston, Zuma and Brook climbed out of the pool then walked over to the two singers. They were soaking wet and realized what the kids had planned. "Brook, why don't you get your dad wet instead." Christina tried to avoid the hug while Gwen ran across the backyard with her two sons chasing after her. "What's the fun in that? I could get you both wet." Brook evilly laughed as Gwen gave up and sat back down. Somehow Christina talked Brooklyn into getting her father wet first. Still soaking wet, Brooklyn snuck up behind Adam and gave him a big hug. The adults laughed. He turned around and picked up his daughter, throwing her into the large pool then jumping in after her. Christina shrieked as the wave splashed everyone who was dry. Adam and the four year old soon began having a splash fight which resulted in everyone joining in. Brook jumped onto her father's shoulders and Zuma jumped onto Blake's. Blake's height made it easy for Adam to knock him down.
After dinner, everyone had left except for Christina. She suddenly decided to go home. "Tell her when she is asleep or falling asleep." Adam knew what she meant. "Alright babe, time for sleep." Brook was so tired, she didn't fight but then again she never did. Brooklyn closed her eyes and Adam left, completely ignoring Christina's request.

That night Brook had a nightmare. She knew her dad would always help her feel better so she left her room and entered Adam's. She found him fast asleep. With a stuffed rabbit in one hand, she used her free hand to climb onto the bed and cuddled against Adam's back. He turned around and saw that his daughter must of had a nightmare. He held her tightly as she quickly fell back asleep.
