''Jason where are you?'' I shouted as I walked slowly on the road. It was a beautiful summer night, and there was this party at school. Well, I just turned my back for a second and Jason was gone.

''Jasooon! Come on! It's not funny!'' I shouted once again. I've been walking for almost half an hour and I'm tired. Just when I decided to go back to party I heard a noise.

''Jason?'' I called. No answer.

Then I heard that noise again. It's barely hearable but... It's like someone's moaning. Oaky, I really don't want to walk in on something disgusting so my brain was telling me to get back to party but my curiosity took over. And when I turned the corner of the school bus I found the owner of the voice. I saw two boys standing and arguing. Just when I saw them I heard a great voice. Like a gun shot. And it wasn't so long before one of them fell down. When I understood what happened I let out a scream. The boy who was lying on the ground was bleeding. And the figure... I looked at it and I saw the figure's face in the moonlight.

''Jason?'' I breathed out.

Jason, my boyfriend, was standing next to the boy with a gun in his hand.

''What have you done?'' I whispered. I couldn't let my voice get higher than a whisper.

I didn't understand anything. He was... he was Jason he wouldn't hurt anyone but now I find him...killing someone. Killing. I was refusing to believe what I just saw. But the boy on the ground was making it all real. And the gun in Jason's hand... Oh my God. The boy... '' He needs help!'' my brain ordered to me. I ran toward his body. I wasn't in control of my own body. I was moving automatically. And I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I grabbed his wrist and looked for a pulse. Nothing. I tried the other wrist, nothing. I tried to hear him breathing or his heartbeats and... nothing. He was...dead. I drew back in horror. He's dead. He's dead. He's dead. It kept echoing in my mind. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. A cold hand though the weather was hot. I looked back to face him.

''Don't touch me.'' I drew back immediately.

''Liv...'' he whispered as he stepped forward.

''No!'' I stepped back.

''How could you... How could you do that? Why?'' I shouted.

He dropped the gun.

''Tell me something!'' I shouted. ''Tell me he was threatening you and he was going to kill you if hadn't killed him! SAY SOMETHING JASON! ''

''Liv...'' he said as he looked into my eyes.

''Tell me you're not... you're not a killer!'' I whispered.

I waited for him to say something. I waited for him to make me believe I was wrong. But he didn't say a word. He said nothing to make me believe.

***

I was pulled out of the flashback with Jason's voice.

''Morning.''

I didn't say anything.

''What? Silent treatment?'' he asked. He was obviously enjoying.

''What do you want?'' I asked cold.

''What do I want? I tell you what I want. I want answers. '' he said. His voice rising a little. He came and sat next to me on the bed.

''I want to know, how you looked me in the eye and told me you loved me then sold me out?'' he spoke slowly with a low voice. He didn't lose the eye contact for a single moment.

I just shook my head.

''How dare you ask me that?''

''Why did you lie to me Liv?'' he asked.

''I'm not the one who lied. You fooled me for all those months. You made me believe a lie and now here you are asking how I lied to you? Well, flash news McCann I never lied to you!'' I shouted as I got up.

''What did you really bring me here for Jason? ''

''I told you I need answers.''

''For what? What's past is past!''

''What's past? Oh, yeah it might be past for you honey, but I almost got stuck in a cell for 20 years if I didn't escape!'' he shouted.

''I wish you stayed there for the rest of your life!''

I wasn't expecting this reaction.

He put his hand up, ready to slap me. He could barely stop himself and his hand hung in the air.

''You were going to hit me?'' I whispered.

He slowly walked against me until he pinned me to wall.

''That's what you've done to me.'' He whispered then continued with a low, threatening voice. ''Spending a year in prison changes you. Remember you put me in there, sweetheart. Are you ready to pay the price?'' he spoke with a cold, threatening voice that sent chills down my spine. Then he walked out.
