Stalker//Jai Brooks

Chapter 3

We walked into the school gates and made our way up to the front doors, as soon as we walked in everyones eyes were on us. It was like tiny knives were  peircing my back.We kept on walking trying to ignore all the attention we were getting, when someone made it a whole lot worse.

The most popular girl in  school started walking towards us. Jessica Shay. I let out a sigh, I wasn't In the mood today. I closed my eyes hoping she would walk right past us, but of course with my bad luck she stopped right infront of me. One eye peered  open as I saw her face grinning back at me and that's when she asked the question. The question everyones been asking for the past 2 years.

"So are you guys a thing now?"Jessica said in her high pitched voice, making me clench my fists. I tried to chill and answered her in the nicest way possible.

Then I realised I had no chill "FOR THE LAST TIME WE'RE NOT DATING!" I shouted loud enough for everyone to hear, Beau looked at me as if he was hurt by what I was saying. "Maybe you should shout it louder for the people at the back," Jessica snarled. I grinned "Maybe I will," I snarled back "ME AND BEAU ARE NOT DATING!" He looked at me once again with anger in his eyes.

He looked dilusional, it was scaring me I didn't want to ask him what was wrong just in case he got angrier.

I grabbed Beaus hand and barged passed Jessica and made my way to my locker. I put my pin in and grabbed my book for maths. At the corner of my eye I saw the mysterious Jai Brooks. The boy everyone feared. The boys on the football team would walk on the opposite side of the corridor from him. The popular girls tried to get with him, but never suceeded . He was wearing his usual black jeans and black top and of course his black Hat. (What Jai's wearing at the top)

His locker is neighbours with mine this year, oh great my day can't get any worse.  looks like I'm gonna be seeing that boy a lot  more. Without knowing it, I was day dreaming he looked up from his phone and gave me the most unfriendliest look anyone can give you and slammed his locker door making it nearly fall off it's hinges and slowly walked away.

"What's up with your brother today?" i asked Beau curiously. "oh-uh-um i actaully don't know, i'm gonna go i'll see you in History," Beau answered walking away in a hurry. What's up with everyone today?

The rest of the day Beau was still acting strange, he wasn't paying attention in classes, even his favourite, acting class. It was like he was in another dimension. At lunch he was the exact same he kept on staring outer space, he was getting distacted by something or someone. Who is it? Or what is it?

I made my way to my last class biology the only one Beau wasn't in. I got in one minute late and there was only one seat left and that was next to Jai fucking Brooks.

I give a big sigh and sat onto the seat next to him. I took out my jotter and a pencil so I was ready to write. Mrs long aka Mrs Ratface with her buck teeth and her rat shaped head. She started talking in her squeaky voice making my ears nearly explode.

"Right class we're going to start a project, we're going to do the baby project," Mrs Small said looking pleased with her idea. The whole class whined. "So it's going to be an assignment. You and your partner will get an mechanical baby to look after. A mechanical baby feels, looks and sounds like a real baby. It is designed to learn youngsters how to take care of a baby. It is also designed to help unwanted pregnancies in young school girls. The babies will cry and it will get timed to see how long it will take you to react to get to the baby," Mrs long said smiling to herself.

The whole class gave out another whine. "Can we choose our partners?"Jessica asked, obviously wanting to go with her boyfriend Dan Stewart the captain of the football team aka the popular boy who is known  to throw the best parties.

"No. I will be choosing your partners. I want you students to go with someone you have never worked with before to see how that affects you and the baby," Mrs Ratface answers.

The class once again let's out another whine obviously not fond of the idea.

"So here are  your partners,"
"Jessica and Thomas,"
"Dan and holly,"
"Ben and Sophie,"
"Luke and Yazmin,"
"Sarah and Creig,"
"Claire and Ian,"

I was waiting for my name to be called out. My toes and fingers were crossed. Hoping she wouldn't say his name.
"Ivy and Jai,"

"Fuck," I muttered under my breath.

"The assignment will go on for a month, have fun class. Before you leave please come and grab your baby before you go," She smiled widely showing her yellow buck teeth.

This months gonna be a living hell.
