Stalker//Jai Brooks

Chapter 4

I was speed walking down the hall, with the fake, creepy baby in my arms. It almost reminded me of the horror movie I watched when I was younger.,Chucky. I remember I had nightmares for nearly two months after witnessing the scary doll murdering people. My thoughts were interrupted by an unusual voice shouting my name. It was Jai brooks.

I stopped for him to catch up. He  awkwardly stumbled in front of me, his face was flushed red like a tomato. I stood there awkwardly waiting for him to speak. Eventually he did.

"Uh do you have your phone with you?" He asked while scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah I do," I answered rummaging through my bag trying to find my phone. I handed it to him. And watched him as he typed away. His tongue stuck out at the side of his mouth in concentration.

He handed me back my phone and spoke again.

"Text me your address and I'll be over to help with the baby," he said politely before walking off and giving me an awkward wave.

I walked Up to the front door and unlocked it. I threw my bag and the creepy baby onto the kitchen counter. I let my self sink into my couch and started flicking through Netflix.

I was half way through twilight when I was interrupted from my phone buzzing.

It's probably Jai reminding me to text him my address.

My eyes widened, it was an unknown number. I was too scared to open it. I told myself to stop being a child and open it. My hands started to shake as I read the message.

Unknown: I'm watching you

I suddenly got goosebumps all over my body, I scanned the house making sure there was no one there. I felt unsafe in my own home.

What I knew for sure was that I didn't want to be alone. I text Jai my address and waited for a reply. My phone buzzed for the second time and my heart skipped a beat I slowly picked it up. Praying to god that it was Jai and not the unknown number.

Jai: on my way

-okay see you soon
 
I felt safer knowing I wouldn't be alone.

I freshened up and tidied the house, by the time I was done the door bell rang. I made my way to the door. Standing there was Jai.

He was changed into different clothes, more casual. He was wearing light grey joggers and a white top that shaped his abs perfectly. His eyebrow piercing complementing his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes.

He was just so dreamy and those eyes.

"Uh ivy?" Jai said. His voice bringing
me back to reality.

Fuck not again Ivy

I was Just about to invite him in when the stupid baby started to scream. It's piercing cry made my head nearly explode. I covered my ears and looked up at Jai to find him smirking.

"I think she wants daddy," He said
