"I-I had a flashback.." Elijah spoke quietly and frowned briefly. Jacob sat up with the intention to listen to what his friend had to say. "It occurred when i was back on the hospital two weeks ago."

"Two weeks ago?! And you're just now telling me Elijah?!" Jacob practically yelled at him which caused his best friend to frown up and look down. Jacob sighed and grabbed Elijah's hand gently. "I-i'm sorry for yelling. What did you remember. What happened?"

"I had just entered the party and I remember seeing Rayan with that boy Jon so I left him alone because I don't really like Jon. The music was pretty good at the party then I walked over to the snack area and saw some punch. I was hestitant to get some because i thought it was spiked but the host, uh Junior or something like that said that the punch was fresh and then it was over." Elijah explained while playing with his fingers.

"So Junior raped you?! I'll kill him!" Jacob growled, getting ready to stand up but Elijah stopped him and sighed.

"No! We can't make conclusions and accuse people until i get a better memory of what happened. More importantly, i need to meet the girl who brought me to the hospital. Maybe she'll give me better insight as to who hurt me and pretty much destroyed me as a whole."

"You ARE NOT destroyed Lijah! I don't want to hear you say that again." Jacob lectured while building up tears in his eyes. "We'll find the asshole who did this and I swear i'll kill him before the police has a chance to cuff him."

"Thank you Jakey." Elijah smiled and hugged him. "Now come walk me to work. Your boo Jaden is there more than likely. He always works the same shifts as me. He's only nice when you around anyways."

"First that is not my boo." Jacob blushed and got up as they headed out to walk to the grocery store. Elijah was still slightly uncomfortable walking out in public because he felt as if everybody knew about him. Once they both arrived to the job, Jacob immediately spotted Jaden and tried to act as if he wasn't there.

Jaden walked over and smiled at Jacob being coy. "Hey Jake.." Elijah smirked at the sudden blush that appeared on his cheek.

He leaned over and whispered in his ear. "But that's not your boo right?" Elijah laughed and walked away from the two the minute Jaden grabs Jacob's hands and kisses them. He walked over to where Raya and Myles were at as they eyed him down. "What y'all looking at?"

"We haven't seen you in a couple of weeks. We were worried about you. Don't worry about other people Eli, they don't know the truth." Raya reassures with a small smile.

"The thing is, I don't know the truth either okay? What if i practically begged to be raped. Then it wouldn't be his fault. It'd be mine." Elijah sighed and shook his head. "This will cause me to have another panic attack so can we please just drop it." Elijah asked while getting ready to start bagging.

Once work started, it was slow. Only a few people came in so Elijah just put some things back on the shelves and cleaning up any messes that were made by mischievious children and things of that nature. While mopping up the spilled apple juice, a guy walked up to him. Elijah took a couple of steps back and rubbed his arms nervously. "Uhm can I help you?"

"Yeah, i'm sorry if I scared you...I'm looking for where the cans of gravy are." The guy chuckled and smiled at the seemingly nervous worker.

"Oh...uhm it's literally aisle down on the right. They're usually at the bottom of the shelves." Elijah explained, looking down at the floor. He couldn't believe he was nervous around this guy.

"Hey, I recognize your face. I think we ran in to each other a couple of weeks ago. I think i snapped on you and made you cry and I apologize sincerely. That was a bad week for me and everybody was just agitating me." The guy explained, watching the petite boy.

"It's okay. You didn't make me cry...I was already crying. Uhm...bad week for me." Elijah spoke softly. "Any week is bad for me." He mumbled to himself.

"Right...well whatever or whoever made you cry is total assholes. I'm glad it wasn't me but I would love to make it up to you."

"Uhm no. It's okay. Thank you for the apology. I really appreciate it, now I should get back to work." Elijah sighed and began mopping again.

"Wait wait..can I at least know your name?" The guy asked.

"I'm Elijah. What's yours?"

"Mike. See you around...Elijah." The guy smirked and walked away to go retrieve his gravy.

"Mike.." Elijah whispered to himself while smiling softly.

Updates to this book could be slow because I moved in to my dorm in Arizona on Monday so I'm trying to adapt and have fun.
