"Hey Elijah baby...haven't talked to you in so long." His mom spoke up, somewhat in a whisper. Mike stared at Elijah with concern because he had no idea what was going on. "Elijah?" She spoke up again but Elijah had tears falling down his pretty face and he couldn't process any words so he hung up. He stood up and literally ran to the bathroom. Locking the door, he began crying.

Elijah hadn't talked to his mother since she abandoned him with her boyfriend. He never did like him because he just controlled everything and wanted everything his way and if that meant getting rid of Elijah, he would. Instead of hurting Elijah physically, he hurt him mentally by running away with his mother. It didn't matter though, his mother didn't bother ever defending her own son when it came down to it. She was always against him for whatever known reason. Whether it be his sexuality or his dislike for her boyfriend. Now years later, she wants to finally talk to her son who is barely 19 and still trying to find himself.

"Baby, open the door. Let me hold you." Mike stated. Elijah had his head in his hands and he just cried. He was so angry at her for how she did him and she wants to act as if nothing happened. He never had a real mother. He couldn't even talk to her because the hurt, betrayal and anger was coming so fast. "Baby, calm down and just open the door for me." Mike spoke soothingly.

It took a couple of minutes but Elijah shakingly opened the door and launched himself into Mike's arms. "I-i hate her so much!" Elijah sobbed and gripped on to Mike so tightly. Mike frowned and rocked side to side slowly. He rubbed his back and kept kissing his head repeatedly. He had no idea that Elijah had a broken relationship with his mother. Maybe that explains why Elijah seems so broken all the time and he was increasingly becoming worried.

Sure Mike has made Elijah a bit happier with his life and has made sure that he was safe but now he understands. Elijah's life has been nothing misery and he tried to mask it with a broken smile but Mike saw through it. That's why Elijah trusted Mike so much because no matter what Mike didn't let it bother him when Elijah seemed so vulnerable. He didn't even take advantage of him and he could never get over that feeling.

It took a while but Elijah had finally calmed down and Mike lifted Elijah up who laid his head on his shoulder. He carried him to the bed and laid him down. Elijah clenched on to Mike and eyes with a sad look. "S-stay.." Mike didn't even hesitate. He nodded and climbed in bed with him. He cuddled him close and Elijah breathed out softly. "I-I haven't talked to her since my senior year in high school." Elijah whispered. Mike listened intently and caressed Elijah's hair gently.

"Why baby?" Mike asked carefully and Elijah shrugged. "You can tell me anything and you know that. If this is too uncomfortable for you then let me know now and I could just try to distract you."

"She ran off with her boyfriend because he disliked me. He wanted her to all himself but it didn't help the situation when our relationship was broken as well. She didn't really mother me as she was supposed to but it was fine because I thought I grown adapted to it. She doesn't know how much damaged she caused to me." Elijah spoke softly and eyes getting slightly droopy from crying so much.

"Maybe you should talk to her babe, hear her side of things. Maybe you two could amend the broken relationship." Mike said with hope but Elijah's straight face stated something different. "Baby, just at least talk to her. I know you are angry but give yourself some time and then just hear her out. You don't have to have a great relationship but this is your mother regardless. I just at least want you and her to talk at least once then you could block her from your life all you want. For me baby?" Mike asked and when Elijah nodded in agreement, he kissed Elijah all over the face.

"Mike!" Elijah giggled softly and hid his face in the crook of his neck. Elijah's breathing gotten softer and his eyes began fluttering close. Mike was going to get up but Elijah gave him a koala bear hug. "D-don't leave me please. I-i just want you c-close." Elijah stuttered and Mike gave in to his sweet boy.

"Alright baby..." Mike kissed his cheek softly and smiled because Elijah was everything to him. More than Saturn needed its rings.

"Mike?" Elijah spoe softly.

"Yes?"

"I would love to be your boyfriend."

"I know.." Mike whispered while he held the boy who finally fell asleep.
