I just got home from the grocery store and when I opened the front door I heard voices
"Ellie, jump I'll catch you!" That was my husband's voice. Inquisitively I leaned closer to the living room.
"O-Okay dad!" I heard my daughter, Ellie, squeak out.
After that I heard the cat meow loudly and something crashing on the ground. After that, giggles erupted from my two favourite people in the world.
I went in front of the doorway and opened the door to see Dan with a leg on each arms of the couch and in his arms was our light-brown haired daughter.
"What's going on?" I asked leaning against the doorway.
Dan and Ellie looked at each other before shouting out "THE FLOOR IS LAVA!"
