Meredith POV
"Amelia, I know you are in surgery but I wanted... I need to tell you that Derek he... Had an accident... Car crash. Erm he's stable but it was a big crash so maybe you should come up to Dillard Medical Centre and I will call your mother now. See you soon Mer"
God she never answers her damn phone.
"Mrs Shepherd..." A thin red head begins to say
"It's Dr Grey" I said interrupting her
"Right sorry Dr Grey... Your husband had huge impact to his brain which caused a bleed, we found it early and removed in during his surgery. We will not know his brain function until he wakes up but apart from that he's doing better then we expected!" She says with a small smile on her face at the end
"Thank you Dr..." I say realising I had no idea what her name was
"Blake. Dr Blake "
"Well thank you Dr Blake but I was wondering I know he has a long road ahead of him but when he is stable enough to move could we move him to Grey Sloan Memorial, you see we work their and its a lot bigger... No offence I mean this is a great hospital..." I said rambling, I tend to do that when I'm nervous
"Well I'm only an intern so I'll ask my supervisor but you are part of the famous five" she says giving me a smirk
*2 hours later*
I had just closed my eye after talking to Derek hoping he would wake up with his cheeky, flirty grin on his face, when the door powerfully opened with a bang.
" jeez Amelia you know how to make an entrance" i said jumping out of my skin
"No time for jokes how is he???" She was out of breath and look like she has ran from the hospital
"He's doing ok, not awake yet but ok" I say giving her my seat as I sit in the end of his bed
"Good, good. My mum phoned me and said she got on the first plane out here, so she should be here in a few hours to report to the sisters" Amelia didn't get on too well with the rest of her family, they still looked at her at the widow, drug addict who lost her child. When all she wanted to do was be one of the girls.
"That's great!"
"I'm just going to go talk to the doctors in his case and talk more doctor" she says sleuth a giggle which was hiding her pain
In the corner of my eye I saw a slight twitch. I ignored it u till I realised what it was.
"Oh my... Oh my god... Derek can you hear me.... Can you hear my voice... Do something... Say something" I said starting to get anxious that he couldn't talk or something worse
