Chapter 9

Kara's POV 

Saturday morning I woke up and put on my suit. I grabbed my phone and checked for missed calls from an unknown number. I flew to the DEO and picked up donuts on the way. The lady at the store looked at me little funny when I realized that I was wearing my suit. I quickly got my donuts and ran out of there. I flew to the DEO and gave Alex and Hank each a donut before plopping myself down on one of the spinny chairs. 

"Still no call?" Alex asked me. 

"Nope, I know that she needed time but I'm starting to think that she's not going to call me!" I said. 

"You left her with a big burden, give her some more time, she's only 14," Alex reassured me. 

"Ok, you're right this is a life changing decision," I agreed.

"You never were patient," Alex stated. 

"Whatever," I said. 

My phone rang from across the table, I jumped across the table and scrambled to pick it up. 

Third person POV

"Hello?" Kara said into the phone. 

"Hi Kara its Bella," Bella replied from the other end of the phone. 

"Oh my god it's her!" Kara mouthed to Alex. 

"Um I was thinking that I would take you up on your lunch offer," Bella said glancing at Thea sitting across from her on her bed. 

"Yeah I would love that, how about today at 1? I can fly over to Star City," Kara offered. 

"Um, Ok," Bella said a little startled by Kara's jumpiness.  

"Sounds great I'll see you then!" Kara said. 

"Ok," Bella said hanging up the phone. 

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Thea asked. 

"Yeah I'm sure," Bella replied.

"She said she wants to meet with me and talk!" Kara exclaimed to Alex. 

"Great," Alex replied. 

"Who's going to meet with you?" Hank asked coming back from the lab. 

"Um my sister," Kara replied. 

"Sister? More Kryptonians?" Hank said with a sigh. 

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing."

"She's only 14 anyway," Kara defended.

"Take it easy Kara," Alex said having to basically hold her sister back before she attacked Hank. 

"I didn't mean anything by that," Hank said, "so who is this is girl?" 

"She's my little sister. You might have seen her using her powers on the news," Kara replied. 

"So, are the fort rozz escapees going to want to kill her too?" Hank wondered aloud. 

"Oh my god I need to warn her about that!" Kara exclaimed as she checked her watch. 12:45. 

"I got to leave now if I'm going to make it to Star City by 1," Kara said, leaving. 

"Have fun!" Alex said.

Star City- third person POV 

"We should probably get going now if you want to be there by 1," Thea told Bella.
