Third person POV
Bella held onto Finn as tight as she could, but it wasn't strong enough. He jumped out of her arms and ran to Oliver.
"Finn!" She yelled.
Oliver picked the dog up before he could get killed. He handed Finn back to Bella and she put him into a small closed in area. Thea stepped in front of Bella ready to defend her. The robots charged. Bella quickly hobbled to a computer. She sat down and began to attempt to hack the robots while Felicity traced their signal to find their controller. Their computers began to spark when Felicity yelled out that she had found the person who was controlling the robots. They jumped every time their computers let out sparks. They saw Thea slammed against a wall when all of the robots powered down. The fighters looked at each other and Felicity.
"It wasn't me," Felicity confirmed.
"Um it was me!" Bella said assuming they had all just forgotten about her.
"We know, we were just kidding," Oliver said.
"Thanks for saving Finn by the way," Bella said to Oliver.
"Well I kind of like him," Oliver admitted.
"I called it!" I yelled to everyone,"pay up suckers."
Everyone handed Bella money.
"You guys bet on me?" Oliver asked.
"Yup," Bella said stuffing the money into her pocket and picking up Finn.
"Wow thanks," Oliver said.
"If it makes you feel better, I just made 50 bucks," Bella said.
"No, no it doesn't Bella," Oliver said.
"Sorry Ollie," Bella said with a laugh.
"Come here," Oliver said, picking up Bella and tossing her over his shoulder.
"Ahh Ollie put me down!" Bella cried.
"Oliver stop! She has a concussion remember?" Laurel scolded Oliver.
"Sorry," Oliver said, carefully placing Bella back in her chair.
"Ugh, you guys are so immature," Laurel said shaking her head as Bella and Oliver doubled over laughing.
"Maybe you are just too mature," Bella pointed out to Laurel.
"I am not!" Laurel said, walking over to Bella. Laurel, Iris, and Thea began to tickle Bella until they were all laughing so hard that they couldn't breathe.
"My mom says that we need to go home now," Bella told Barry and Iris.
"Ok," Iris said still gasping for breath.
"She said that you can all come to dinner if you want? And Laurel, invite your dad," Bella told everyone else.
"Where are we going?" Thea asked.
"Out to dinner at the Italian place at the mall," Bella replied.
"Ok, tell her that we will meet you guys there," Laurel said.
"Ok see you there," Bella said leaving with Barry, Iris, and Finn.
"Bye," Thea said.
Bella's POV
When we got home, my mom made we wrap my cast like 100 times with trash bags, then I had to go shower. I put on a short flowered skirt with a maroon long sleeved shirt on top, I paired it with my favorite pair of sandals that had a strap by the heel and two straps in the front. I put my short blonde hair into a half up-half down sort of thing, but Marley also wanted to braid my hair, so it was a half up-half down with a braid instead of a ponytail. We went downstairs to find Iris in a black and white striped dress that was fitted at the top and flowy at the bottom and it ended right at the knees. Barry was wearing a sweater with pants and a khaki jacket. Marley was wearing a short red skirt with a black tank top tucked in that was pulled together with a gold belt, she was wearing a jean jacket on top. Jack was wearing tan shorts and a hooded black and grey striped long sleeved shirt. We got into the car. Iris, Marley, and I got into the back row of our black GMC while Barry and Jack sat in the middle row. We got to the restaurant in 10 minutes and we slowly got out of the car. It took me a little while to get out thanks to my cast and crutches. Once I finally got out we walked through the mall to the restaurant. We saw Thea, Oliver, Laurel, and her dad waiting outside of the restaurant for us. Oliver and Detective Lance stopped their arguing when they saw us approaching. We walked up to them and I noticed Detective Lance stare at my cast and crutches.
"Hi!" I said to them.
"What happened to you?" Detective Lance asked me.
"I um got attacked," I replied.
"By who?" He asked.
"A bear," I confidently lied with a laugh.
This made them all laugh. He didn't bother to ask me more questions about it. The buzzer in Laurel's hand began to buzz causing her to jump. We laughed a little at her as we walked to the counter and handed them our buzzer. We followed the waitress to our table in the back and sat down. I sat in between Laurel and Iris and Thea sat on the other side of Laurel while Barry sat next to Iris as usual. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and got into deep conversation until our waiter came with the stuff we ordered. She placed a root beer in front of me and a Diet Coke in front of both Laurel and Iris. We started eating our bread and small salads.
"So, how's work?" My dad asked Detective Lance.
"Dangerous," he replied making us laugh, "How about you?"
"Good," my dad replied.
"How has school been Marley?" Detective Lance asked my sister.
"Good," she answered.
The waitress came to take our order and I ordered a kids Mac and cheese for dinner. We quickly ate our food, then payed and hurried out of the restaurant. They cleared a path for me, from the huge line of people waiting to be seated, so that I could get through on my crutches. We walked through the mall to the dessert shop and stopped to get a big table there. I felt my arm buzz from my watch. I saw all of team arrow look at their similar watches. Detective Lance's phone began to ring causing him to have to leave to answer it. He came back and told us he needed to leave for work. Team arrow also found excuses to leave which left me. I told my parents that my head was hurting and Laurel offered to drive me home. We left the shop and drove to the arrow cave. I sadly watched from the side as everyone ran to put their suits on.
"Do you miss it?" Felicity asked me.
"Yeah," I honestly replied.
"Well, I'm sure you'll be back out there soon enough, but until then you have the even more badass job with me," Felicity said. We both laughed at her remark.
