Authors note: this chapter is a little gruesome just so you know.
Third person POV
Bella was outside, eating ice cream when out of nowhere a person landed in front of her. They pulled out a green knife and held it to her throat. She felt her legs weaken as there was a gunshot and her knees were gushing blood from bullet holes. She fell forwards onto the ground.
Thea was watching tv when she felt a squirm from her lap. Bella was squirming more than usual.
Bella saw the man approach her limp body. He bent down and looked her in the eye. He had blue eyes and he had short dirty blonde hair. He was wearing a black body suit that had what Kara told her was her family's crest. This man must be her family. She reached out to him wanting to know more about this man who bore her family's crest. He easily cut off her hand and watched as she clutched her hand.
Bella began to shake back and forth and tremble. She grabbed her hand and held it. Thea woke up Marley. They crowded around Bella as she shook.
The man took his knife and plunged it deep into Bella's chest. She saw black.
Bella awoke gasping for air, tears streaming down her cheeks. She sat up and let go of her hand. She looked paler than usual and she was just staring wide eyed into space.
"Bella? Are you ok? What happened?" Marley asked.
Bella continued to sob. Her sister wrapped her in a tight hug and rubbed her back.
"It was just a dream," Marley said.
"I-I-I died," Bella stuttered.
"What?" Thea asked.
"The knife, it-it plunged into my chest," Bella said.
"No, you're fine," Thea assured her.
They woke up Laurel and Iris.
"What's wrong?" Laurel asked.
"She had a bad dream," Marley said as she continued to rub her sister's back. Bella continued to sob into her sister's shoulder.
"Why don't we just watch some more tv?" Iris said turning it on.
They went back to how they were sitting before they fell asleep. They were all sitting on bean bag chairs and Bella was sitting next to her sister, Marley's arm wrapped around her.
Bella couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. Or most nights after that. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw the evil man who had stabbed her.
Bella's POV
I showed up to the cave a week later with bags under my eyes."When was the last time you slept?" Oliver asked.
"I don't know? A week ago maybe," I replied.
"Why haven't you been sleeping?" Thea asked.
"You know why," I hinted to her.
"Ohh," Thea said.
"Why? What do you guys know but I don't?" Oliver asked.
"So many things Ollie," someone said, coming in. We turned to see who it was when Laurel walked in with Sara!
"Sara!" I exclaimed walking over to her.
