"Penelope!", cried Manny. Distracted as always she stared into the car window.
"What do you want?!", Penelope answered playing scenarios in her head, which made her fidgety.
"We are home.", he told her, while pulling into the driveway. Once she got off the car, her parents were already waiting on the doorstep.
"How was your trip sweety?", said both her parents as if they were in choir, "We missed you so much!", with the most cheerful and welcoming voice her mother had.
"It was wonderful!", she said while faking a smile. Hugging her parents was the hardest thing to do, she desired so deeply to cry, but filled with courage she held the tears in. "I had so much fun." She bared everything inside, so quiet.
