Chapter 4: My Bestie

Eren's room^
Eren's POV

I've been thinking about the conversation Levi and I had. It's been stressful. I really need to talk to Armin soon. School ended and I rushed out to my car, pulled out, and drove home. I played a song by Lana Del Rey to soothe me a bit and relaxed a little. I soon pulled up in my drive way and ran into my house, tears pricked at my eyes.

"I FUCKING HATE HIM!" I screamed and I lost it. I ran up to my room to my bed and let it all out for a long time. I heard the door downstairs open. "Eren?! I'm home!" My mom called from the kitchen probably. "Mom, c-can you p-please c-come here?" I whisper-yelled and slammed my face in my pillow. I heard her light foot steps up the stairs and looked up to see my mother's warm smile. She walked over and comforted me by rubbing my back.

"Awe, my little baby, what's wrong?" My mom questioned. I stopped sobbing for a moment. "Do you remember Levi?" I asked. She put a scowl on her face. "Yes Eren, he's your crush and your ex bully. What about him? HAS HE HURT YOU AGAIN?! I'll fucking rip off his dick and shove it up his ass and force his balls down his throat!" My mom mumbled angrily.

I smiled a bit. "No mom he didn't, but I don't know what to do. He confessed today and said that he likes me but I bet it's only on my looks. He didn't notice me for two years. Well he did, just not in a way I wanted him to. I really like him but I don't think I could trust him. It's kind of one of those 'I love you but I hate you' sort of things." I sighed. "What should I do, momma?" I grabbed her in a strong embrace.

"Well baby, I think you should wait it out. If he really wants you, he'll make an effort to be with you. Let him chase after you and love yourself." I took her words in and let them sink in. She let me go and gave me a kiss on the cheek and another warm smile. "I love you, my baby boy. Also, what do you want for dinner?" She said as she ruffled my hair and walked toward the door.
"I love you too, mom. And I want thai food, please." I said lovingly. She smiled and closed my door.

I sighed, grabbed my phone and sat at my desk on the other side of my room. I pulled up my laptop and went on Facebook and scrolled down my newsfeed. I checked my notifications that I didn't get to earlier.

Well, that's the first. I checked the time and see if I could call Armin. It's 6pm so it's 4am over there.. Oh well. I pulled up my phone and clicked on his contact for FaceTime. Finally after 3 rings it connected.

"Hey Eren!" Armin said excitedly yet tiredly. "Hey Ar! Sorry to be calling so early but I really needed to talk to you." I said sadly. "Yeah no problem, hun. What's the matter?" He said with a caring tone. "You remember Levi right?" I said. "Yup, Mr. Hot but also Mr. Not. I still wanna kick his ass but since you like him so much, I won't." Armin chuckled. I giggled. "Well anyways, he confessed to me today at lunch." I said. Armin gave a look of pure shock. "Oh mah gawd Eren, HE FINALLY LIKES YOU!" Armin shouted.

"Yeah but I don't believe him, Ar... I don't think I can trust him and he's probably playing games with me again. Be nice to me then stab me in the back just like freshman year." I mumbled. Armin pouted. "Hm that is true. I'm sorry, cutie. But just remember, if he really wants you he'll try his very best just to be yours." He yawned and I nodded. "Alright well, I'm gonna let you get back to sleep. I love you bestie." I gave him a heart warming smile.
"I love you too, bestie. Good night!" He gives me a toothy smile. "Good morning!" I said back then hung up.

"Eren, dinner is here!" My mom called from the kitchen. "Coming!" I shouted.
