Barry's P.O.V.
"Barry! BARRY!" A familiar voice screamed in my ear, making me so happy. The sound of this girl just made me want to smile for the rest of the day.
"W-Who is it? Caitlin, if this is you, pleeeease give me a couple more minutes..."
"Barry Allen, if you do not get your lazy ass up and get moving, at super speed or normal, I will hit you so hard you go to another Earth." Hmmm, I finally put my finger on it. This voice, with this tone mixed in, it has to be. No, it can't be, is it really-
"K-Kara? is that you?"
"Oh, honey, you remembered me? That is so sweet."
"Hmph, you never were much of a joker Danvers. Now, I'm gonna ask the big question, how the hell did you get to this Earth?" I was glad to see Kara, she always made me the happiest I could be, no matter how I was feeling. But, I still had some feelings for her that I never decided to share. Hmph, I'm a loser who can't get a girl to like me even in my own thoughts.
"Wow, and here I thought you were glad to see me. But, I think, that before I tell you why and how I'm here, maybe you should let me tell you why I woke you." Man, she was acting so sweet and lovable, but damn she was being so straight to the point at the same time. She is so hard to predict, and guess what she is thinking, it's probably one of the reason I love her.
"Okay, fine Kara. Shoot."
"Barry Allen, would you accompany me to the party happening at Verdant tonight? As Kara Danvers and Barry Allen, no superheroes?" Oh my god, did Kara Danvers, actually just ask me to go to a club with her?
"Did the legendary Kara Danvers, just ask me out on a date? To go to a club? Is someone suddenly becoming a bad ass like her friend Barry Allen?"
"Allen, I swear what I said earlier about hitting you still stands, answer the question." Oh my, she was scaring me at the same time as turning me on. This girl is something else.
"Kara Danvers, behind your shell of being a hot scary babe, is a beautiful, caring, sweet and wonderful girl, so yes, I will go with you to Verdant." After that comment, I could see her face beginning to turn a redder shade.
"Barry Allen, I'm glad you said yes, but did you just say my name in the same sentence as the words hot, babe, and beautiful? If I didn't know any better, I would say you were hitting on me. When you stop being a womanizer, lets go get some coffee." She walked away, after a sly wink. I could definitely tell I was the one with a incredibly red face now. Man, I was madly in love with that girl.
