Picking Sides

"Delilah..." I heard Kihyun say as I entered their territory.

I felt exhausted and felt like I was going to pass out.

"Kihyun" I fell onto my knees.

He immediately went to help me and carried me in his arms.

I wrapped my arms around him.

"It's kind of nice having to hold you like this. I feel like superman" he said.

I slightly smiled. "Well don't get too used to it"

"I could almost kiss you"

"No way...quit playing. We both know that it's not going to work." I closed my eyes.

He chuckled. "Someone beat me to it. I can sense someone else's scent on you but no matter, I'll never stop trying"

"Despite that you're right, it's not what I mean that it won't work. I'm pretty dangerous now you know?"

"Well good news for you... I love danger" he said.

"I'm bad news. Very bad news. Doesn't that bother you?" I ask opening my eyes again.

"No. The thrill and excitement of you being dangerous only intrigues me more. It's sexy" he winked.

I let out a soft laugh. "You're crazy..."

"Only for you" he said with a smile.

I slightly smiled back.

"Did they hurt you?" He asked.

"Not really. Mark was coming onto me though, he wanted me to make a deal with him so they wouldn't torture me. I didn't give in though and luckily they didn't do anything to me. I just feel exhausted...mentally and physically. It was a lot to take in...I spoke to the oracle."

He stopped walking for a moment and looked at me.

"The oracle...it's real?" He asked.

I nodded.

"More real than you can imagine. But it doesn't look good for me Kihyun...I really do think that being around any of you is just a danger in itself. I only came to explain myself and figure out what I'm going to do" I said.

He continued walking.

"For now you need to rest, I'll take you to my room"

"No funny business..." I warned.

He smirked. "You know me too well"

"Stay with me...I know it sounds hypocritical but I don't want to be alone. Stay until I fall asleep" I said.

"I'd stay with you forever without you even asking..."

"It's a shame you don't feel the same way. Minhyuk has feelings for you too but my feelings are much stronger more than you think." He said.

I didn't know what to say.

After all, Jimin and I...

He kissed me and even if Kihyun's words are sweet, I can't return the feelings.

He jumped up onto the rood and quickly made his way to his room.

He turned on a lamp then went to lay me down on his bed.

He let me down gently.

"Are you hungry? Thirsty?" He asked.

"Kind of, both" I admitted as I sat up.
