Tickets?

  Juniper's POV

After the interviews all the dancers were sent into the theater to wait. I was number 17 while Caspian was number 18. Which meant that I had to go first. I am so nervous that I can't control my thoughts at all as we sat down in our seats.
What if they don't like me? What if I mess up? What do I do if I don't get a ticket?!? I don't know if I could handle that kind of embarrassment.
"Juni, Hey Junebug?"
I looked at Casp really slowly almost on the verge of tears. He grabbed each side of my face forcing me to look up at him. "Hey look at me. You are going to do great don't start doubting yourself now ok?" The fact that Casp had so much faith in my was the only thing that gave me the strength to stand in front of Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul, and Jason Derulo.
"Hello" Nigel starts. I replied with a very shy sounding"hi."
"What is your name my darling?"
"Juniper Maybus" I state try to gather what little confidence I have left.
"How old are you?" Nigel continued.
"18 years old."
"Who got you into dancing?"
"My mom."
"Is she here today?"
"No... actually she died when I was very young."
"I am so sorry to hear that," he replies while Paula looks like she is about to cry.
"Well who have you brought with you today?" he asks obviously trying to change the subject.
"I came with my best friend today. He is actually going to audition right after me." I say while pointing at Caspian. He gives a smile and a wave to us.
"Hello best friend" Nigel says while waving at Casp.
"And what style are we going to see today" Nigel continues.
"Contemporary."
"We look forward to seeing that now."
"Thank you" I say quietly. Before I turn around I look at Caspian who is giving me a thumbs up. I take my starting position. And close my eyes.

Breathe...

Just Breathe.
Then the music starts.

Then it was over. Did I seriously just do that?!?
I was kind of scared to look back at the judges but when I finally did what I say shocked me. All three of them were holding up tickets plus the whole room was on its feet. I could feel the tears starting as I ran off the stage. I hadn't even made it to the last step when I was pulled into a hug by Cas. As he spun me around he whispered "You did it." When he let me go I walked up the steps and grabbed a ticket only to be pulled into a hug by each judge. As I stepped down from the judges panel I stayed right at the bottom of the stairs knowing Caspian was next.

Caspian POV (Yes I am doing it again)-

I was watching Juniper get into her starting position for her dance and close he eyes like she always does.

Breathe Juni...

Just Breathe.

I had never actually seen her do this choreograghy. She had been saying she was working on something new but I had yet to see it...

until now. It was like all of the sudden she wasn't nervous at all.

She was home.

When she finished I was speechless. It looked like the judges were too. Everything after that was a blur till I was called onto stage.
Here we go. No going back now. You need to do this for Juni. For yourself.

"Hello" Nigel broke me out of my thoughts.
"Hello," I said back.
"And who might you be?" He asked me.
"Caspian Jones sir."
"Ah the best friend I see?"
"That would be correct."
"And are you feeling nervous seeing as though Juniper might be going through without you?"
"Well I wasn't nervous until you said that so thank you for that..." I trailed off.
"Well good luck then."
"Thank you."
I shot a quick glance at Juni who had a smile as bright as they come, and all of the sudden I wasn't nervous any more. Then I started.

After I got a ticket, I ran to Juniper and hugged her so hard.
"We did it," she whispered just loud enough for me to hear causing me to squeeze her tighter.
"Ya we did."

Ahhhhhhhhh! They did it! But this is just the beginning. I'm really sorry if this chapter got really confusing but I got tired of writing Nigel's name. Sorry. If you see any mistakes please let me know.
