Night fell upon the two friends as they were still exploring the shore of one of Busan's lovely beaches. It didn't even occur to them once that they should start heading back before it got too late, they both were too focused on each other's company and the wonders that lurked around rocks and in that mystical cave Jungkook had shown the elder to even consider the thought.

While it was daylight though, they mainly spoke about Jungkook's past; him explaining how school was for him; his family, which he did stay with for a while when he first woke up as a spirit, but it was too heartbreaking for him to see them grieve so he left and decided to observe others, it also explained to the blonde why Jungkook was in that cafe the night they met; he spoke about his friends and just overall how he was before the accident.

Bringing back the past for Jungkook felt like a brick, or maybe 10, got thrown at him. He truly misses being alive and being able to enjoy everything he once used to. Just thinking about why he's now living like this makes his insides twist and eyes burn with hot, salty tears.

It was all a matter of 'wrong place, wrong time' for the latter and that caused such a fatal accident to occur. He has so many pent up emotions involving that night and while they were sitting there watching the waves crash against the shore, Jungkook let them out. He let go of every single tear, letting his sobs and yells out for the universe to know how unfair everything has been for him.

But he also cried for the feelings he has for Taehyung. He cried knowing that they could never truly be together in the way someone alive would be. He will one day get sent to the spirit pool and Taehyung will spend the remainder of his time of earth. He'll forget about Jungkook, he'll find a new friend that can actually be introduced to people, one that can be seen by others. He'll fall in love with someone who's heart can actually beat and pump blood through their veins. He'll find someone that isn't Jungkook and that is why he cried his soul out in the latters arms as they sat there on the sand, the waves kissing the shore-line in being the only other sound.

The spirit had stopped crying a while ago, just before the sun started setting, but he remained in Taehyung's arms. The reason either being: Jungkook didn't want to move or Taehyung didn't want to let go. But but neither questioned it or made an effort to change how that moment was. They just let the calmness of the setting sun soothe them and their company keep them warm.

It always surprised Taehyung how warm Jungkook actually was. He wanted to question it but he didn't really care for the answer, he was just happy to be with Jungkook the way he was.

Soon enough, when stars that littered the vast night sky got covered in thick clouds, both decided it has gotten considerably cold as well as late and should head back before the journalist got sick.

Standing up and brushing away the sand from their clothes, they linked hands (for more warmth Taehyung reasoned with) and made their way to the motel.

"So what are we going to do tomorrow?" The spirt spoke up as they rounded a corner, nearing closer to their destination.

"Hm," the latter hummed as he thought, "I think I'll have to start working on my article a bit more. I still have yet to visit the scene and I only have a week left here,"

Jungkook's face fell as those words. Taehyung has to go back, and in a week too.

"Oh," Jungkook mumbled "right,"
