Braelynn's POV:
~a week later~
I sit down in the boring ass meeting room..
We are having a meeting today
since idk why the Assistant Manager just like quit..
Mitch & I are sitting next to each other..
Bad mistake..
He hides his hand under the table
He places a newly wrapped gum on my skirt
"Why are you?-"
"Just chew on this..they stole food from me earlier..I'll buy you lunch later" he says whispering before letting out a sigh
I shrug & I unwrap the gum & I put it in my mouth
I chew on it & he holds my hand
"So..Mitch you think I didn't see you..checking out the new guy!" I say winking
"I was not.." He says blushing
"Yes you were..lucky for you..He's single..& gay as well..maybe I should hook you two up some time??" I say wiggling my eyebrows
"No no boo boo.."
"Fine..I'll just let nature do its job.." I say giggling & I look behind to see the man himself with headphones in his ear blaring music through them
After what seemed forever the meeting ended
I walk out to the dressing rooms
since its already time for work
Mitch & I get inside
I get dressed in my costume
I slip on my heels & I walk out
Mitch is still getting dressed
I sit on the makeup chair
Mia our hair stylist walks out
"Hey beauty what's the look for today?"
"Well I'm dressing as a creepy doll..so I'm gonna go for a curly hair look with it still tied up of course"
"Let me do my work honey.." She says smiling & finishes her cigarette
I roll up a blunt as she's doing my hair
"Do you mind?" I ask
She shakes her head
"Go ahead!"
As I'm inhaling it
Mitch who finished finally comes out
"BRAELYNN KAI SUNDERLAND! I can't believe my own eyes..you smoke even before work?"
I cough & I exhale
"Mitch chill..I do it on break too"
"That's not the point..I can't deal with you smoking Lynn!"
"You smoke with me!"
"Only on break..I don't really like smoking like that..I'm gonna restrict your smoking habits for good missy"
"Your not my dad Mitch!" I say upset
He snatches the blunt out of my hand & the box of them
"I'm not gonna let you die Lynn..so say your farewell's to smoking.." He says & throws it away
"Omg Mitch you just!" I say frowning
He hugs me
"I'm sorry I had to...its for the better you know.."
I sigh & he rubs my back..
~during work~
I scared loads of people already
I sneak off to a corner where I know Mitch won't find me
I light up my last blunt & I inhale it
I sigh & I finish it quickly
I spray a travel sized perfume on me
so Mitch won't smell the smoke..
I walk back to my spot & I see Nate's group
I get excited all over my body
Kehlani enters first being the brave girl she is..
I'm in a room where it's a bed with broken toys & I have a knife
"Will you come play with me?" I say faking a child's voice but it sounds creepy
Kehlani walks up to me & I scare her
Lola is frightened & runs out
Nate walks towards me & seems not scared
I grab him
"Wanna play a game?"
"Yeah sure" he says laughing
"Let's play hide & go seek..where you go hide & I find you & kill you." I say laughing evilly
He giggles
"Funny. I know it's you Lynn..I'll see you later..thanks for trying to scare me tho."
Hmm wants to play like that okay?
"Mitch I need you to get info.." I say to Mitch
He walks over to Nate
"What's your biggest fears?"
"Umm..I have one but it's the fear of-"
"Spiders?"
"No."
"Heights?"
"No.."
"It's the fear of airplanes..I have to take meds before I get on them..I freak out" he says
He frowns
"Thank for the info"
He walks back to me
"Unless you have a fake airplane backdrop..we won't be scaring him today" Mitch says
I smirk
"What is today?"
"Friday"
"My week off is..?"
"Monday."
"Okay. So thank you for that info again.."
"What are you planning?"
"Hush child lets go scare some more people"
We go back to work..
I'm a bad girl since I snuck around smoking without Mitch knowing..
Man do I love my job..
