Hello! Here's the last chapter of Jinx Charm Summer Spells, here we get to go to Casta, see a familiar face and the summer finally ends for our characters. Oh and you learn why this story is called Summer Spells. Enjoy!
From the name Casta Jinx was expecting an enchanted cafe, but she was met a few tables outside a very dark, almost empty looking cave with the sign that said Casta the place for coffee lovers. Yes, she liked a good cup of coffee as much as the next person, but she figured a cafe in a magical shopping centre would have a little more umph to it, something that made it more exciting. Then again from her experience with magic, nothing is as it first appears.
"You look disappointed" Bella noted.
"I think I'm just hungry, I need some food in me before I start fussing about how ordinary this place looks" Jinx replied.
"It looks a little different than when we first saw it, but expect the unexpected" Bella smiled as they walked in.
When they first arrived Casta seemed very busy with the inside looking as if it eas packed. However now the interior looked dark and empty. Jinx wondered if it was even open.
As it turned out Casta was in fact quite packed but not enough for it to be considered rush hour level busy. There were people sitting at the tables, some were waiting in line amd others were sitting at the front on sofas. What the hell Jinx thoughtbas she looked back at the way they'd come. She was surprised by the fact that the enterance was coated in a dark grey glass and people walked past the place not giving it a second thought.
"I think it's an illusion frame" Bella replied. "It's this new device out now that creates the impression the place isn't open for the moment, so it makes the employees life less hectic. You can see people from inside, they can't see us. The people here are regulars"
"Then how do you know if you can go in or not?"
"You don't. You take a gamble, sometimes it's up and you can go in, other times it's not up and the place is closed" Bella answered. "Oh look there they are"
Jinx looked at and folpoeed Bella in the direction she was referring to and noticed Kate's father waving at them like a mad man and her siblings sitting down with drinks and cake.
"So how did it go for you all?" Bella asked before giving her husband a quick kiss on the lips and sitting down.
"Good!"
Alright"
"Normal"
"Great! We gots lots of pretty things!"
"Exhausting" Anthony responded. "These two" he pointed at the youngest stewerts "wanted everything pink & girly imagineable, there were quite a lot of "I don't want this!" "Daddy I don't want to wear that to school" and a few moments of pleading."
"Then the terrible trio" meaning Kate abd her twin borothers " decided it would be a good idea to split up and get their own things, they snuck a few things into the trolly and I only found out when we got to check out" he glared at the twins.
"Sounds like you had quite the solo trip" Bella concluded amused, she then gave her husband a peck on the cheek in pity. "We managed to get what we needed. By the way where's Kate?"
"She just left on a spontaneous date" one of the twins smirked.
"You jelous Jinx?" The other teased. "Don't worry she got you a latte and some sort of banana and toffee cake to make up for it" he then pushed a playe and a warm mug towards her.
Jinx threw a napkin at his direction in rrsponse. "I'm not jelous, Kate can see whoever she pleased" Jinx huffed.
The twins chuckled at her reaction. "She's not on a date, Kelly just wanted to have a word with her" Kate's father clarrified.
