RECAP!!!!
Hades has been 'immobile' for 25 years. All his siblings, including Zeus have been born, and, well, you probably know the rest of the story, Zeus is hidden, frees everyone, Kills Kronos... But one thing different is that Hades tried to find Adelphie, but couldn't. He came back, keeping her death to himself. We begin when they decide who's the ruler of what. Zeus is the one who decides that, and he makes Hades the lord of the dead, because he can tell Hades is the only one who had experienced death aside from their father, though he couldn't tell what happened, but he didn't want to ask, because Zeus didn't know how Hades would react.
"Brother Hades?" Poseidon looked, a little worriedly, at Hades. Hades had tears in his eyes as he remembered Adelphie.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking.... Now what did I tell you about being formal with me. I'm not your superior..." Hades replied, smiling softly.
"Hades,"Zeus said. "Since you have, somehow yet obviously, experienced death aside from Kronos, you will be the Lord of the Dead, and you may pick one other; first since you are the oldest amongst us.
"I'll pick... riches." Hades tried to be polite, but he knew that being the god of death meant he would HAVE to LIVE in Erebus, the most dangerous, scariest, deepest place in the universe, and it was devoid of light. He sensed Zeus had an arrogant demeanor, and Hades knew Zeus was trying to rid everyone of his (Hades') influence. Poseidon picked second, and chose the ocean, because it was his favorite color, he had never seen anything like the creatures living there (Kronos had become addicted to swallowing things, and a lot of the time the 5 saw it), and he knew they would accept his as a part of their family. Zeus picked sky, because he knew the world 'best'. Hades thought to himself, 'That's not true! Just because I was gone for a really long time, doesn't mean I don't remember what it was like!' Zeus also asked Hera to marry him, as 'she was prettier than everyone else'. She looked to Hades for advice, and he said that she could if she trusted a person they'd just met. Hades liked to let his siblings learn from their mistakes (he always acted like their father-- he raised them their entire lives), instead of hiding them, or trying to protect them. She told Zeus yes, and they got married a few years later (They wanted to wait until everyone was settled). Hestia decided she would never marry, for fear of what may happen, and Demeter said she would wait a while, till she met someone she really trusted and she was older. Poseidon would also wait till he was older and found someone he was good friends with, and trusted with his life. Hades said he would probably never marry, which surprised everyone. He didn't explain, but his reasoning, in his head was the only person he'd ever felt anything for was Adelphie, and that was why he tried to find her. Then everyone went to their 'designated' area, or territories they had chosen. Hades decided he would go and talk to someone he trusted, and had been a good friend to him before hades' life was ruined by Kronos, and that person was Selene's brother, Helios God of the Sun.
"Helios?" Hades called when he'd entered Helios' palace.
"Hello, Hades. Long time no see. How are you?" Helios had helped in the battle with Kronos, because he knew that Adelphie killing Selene had been an accident, and he forgave her, as he knew Selene would eventually reform, as they were able to do that. Kronos and Helios' father knew that, but chose to ignore it, and didn't tell Rhea, who didn't know.
"I'm pretty good, I guess. How 'bout you? Has Selene reformed yet?"
"I'm very well, thank you. And, yes, Selene has reformed. She did 3 years ago, and that's why your mother hid Zeus-- so he could free those wrongly devoured. It's great to see you well. I actually missed you...."
Hades laughed. He loved Helios like a brother from a different mother. Hades quickly glanced behind him... it felt as if someone had been watching him, yet no one was there. Helios looked at Hades strangely.
"Wazup?" Helios asked.
"Nothing. it just felt like someone was behind me, watching me... hmm..." Hades replied, thoughtfully.
Helios looked at Hades thoughtfully in return."Okay. It's good to have you back..." Helios told Hades.
"It's good to be back." Hades replied. He heard someone call his name, excitedly. It was Selene.
"Hi Hades!!!!" She yelled.
"Hi Selene."Hades replied. "Calm down, will you. I got to go. I have to 'explore my territory' as everyone else is doing."
"What do you mean, quote un-quote explore your territory?" Helios asked, while Selene looked sad.
"Zeus basically ordered me to live in Erebus, as if I could see down there."
Both Selene and Helios gasped. "Erebus?! Why?!" They were utterly shocked.
"I don't know?! I'm also the lord of the dead... Because Zeus could tell I had experienced death before. I don't even know how! i keep what happened to myself, always have."
"Wtf!? Why would he do that?!" Selene asked, astonished.
"Cause he wants to get rid of my influence among the others. It's as simple as that."
Ps: No, this is NOT finished. I still have a long way to go, but i figured, better get some people interested first, and get some fans, sooo... yeah.
