Adelphie

They reached the cabin. Hades' heart was racing. no one had remembered, but it was his birthday. The day he met the most beautiful goddess in the entire universe. The best day of his life. The day he usually spent looking for this goddess. Helios and Selene told Hades to cover his eyes and led him inside. He heard them call out for someone, but he noticed that they didn't say a name, just that he was here. then he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. they weren't heavy like a male was walking down the stairs, but they were light like an angle was walking towards him.

"You can open your eyes now, Hades," Helios said. So he did.

Hades opened his eyes and looked at the young female who had reached the bottom step in her journey down the stairs, and his jaw dropped. He was speechless. he had finally found the goddess he grew up with. He spent all his time with. He dreamed about every year, on the same day: their birthday. This goddess was his twin sister: Adelphie.

Hades gasped. "Adelphie? Is it really you?" He whispered.

"It's really her, Hades. She came to us last night, looking for you." Helios gently told him.

"Hi, Hades." Adelphie slowly walked over to Hades. As she neared, Hades saw the little details that told him she was really in front of him, in the flesh.

Adelphie put her hands on Hades' shoulders gently. Hades reached up and gently grabbed her hands. She smiled. Tears filled Hades' eyes. He suddenly felt like he couldn't breathe, and tears slowly fell down his cheeks. He pulled the young goddess toward him in a hug, and squeezed her gently, yet tightly. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and hugged him back. Helios and Selene both smiled, glad they could have brought the siblings together once more.

They started talking once Hades and Adelphie settled down and got over the shock of having seen each other after so long. After a little while, they heard a loud knock. All four gods and goddesses jumped. Helios got up off the couch, walked to the door, and looked outside. He gasped and opened the door quickly. "Zeus! It's an honor to have you here."

"Yes yes. I have heard Hades was here. Is he?" Zeus replied, not letting himself be distracted, or get off topic and getting to the point of his unannounced visit.

Hades and Adelphie walked up behind Helios with Selene close behind.
