Chapter 3: Fighting Crime

(Previously on Chapter 2)

Chat's P.O.V.

We made it near the village and hid in the bushes. We peered through them to see children crying and parents angry.

We were to late.

Alix grunted angrily and noticed something suspicious in the dirt. She sped past us and returned a couple minutes later, taking deep breaths.

"I found a trail of footprints,but, there's a small problem." She said.

"Thats great! We got a lead. What's the problem." I said.

"Little Blue beat us to it. She's following them." Alix said as my eyes widened.

'' How are we going to go after them, if the princess is going.'' Juleka said.

"We have to make sure, she's going to be okay." Rose said.

"Rose is right" Chat Noir said. I devised a plan with the others, to follow her and not get caught.

Narrator's P.O.V.

Marinette rode her horse, Tikki, through the forest following the footprints of the suspects. She had her sword at her side and her arrow bag on her back. She knew she had a fight coming.

Marinette came to stop when the road stop and there was a dead end. Trees were surrounding her, and all of the sudden she felt like she's wasn't alone. The bushes were moving and Marinette turned her head. Nothing was there when she checked. Alix sped back to the gang before Marinette checked. Shadows were in the trees with glowing eyes. Twigs cracked and trees swayed strangely.

Marinette had an instinct that something or someone was watching her. Suddenly dark figures hopped down from the trees. Marinette was surrounded five to one. The leader had features that resembled human. The rest of them looked like shadows and Marinette thought this was to hard to believe.

Marinette immediately took out her sword and looked all around her.

This is going to be hard I thought.

(Time skip to the Legend of the Nine Lives)

The "cats" we're running as fast as they could and of course Alex was already there. She just stood there in shock of what she is seeing.

A couple minutes later, the rest arrived and all of them stood there with their mouths open.

"Hi-yah" Marinette said as she took the last shadow robber down. She retrieved the money they stole, from a hole in a tree. She did a back flip and landed on the ground.

She hopped onto Tikki's saddle and began riding back to the village then to the castle.

Cat Noir came out from the bushes and stared at her riding into the sunset. He stared at her with loving eyes.

"One day you are gonna have to talk to her!" Nino said patting him on the back.

The hand decided to head back to the campfire.

Marinette finally arrived to the castle minutes later after going to the village, with a question on her mind.

"Mother...Father... I would like to learn how to fight?" Marinette said closing her eyes afraid to see her parent's reactions.

Her mother and father laughed.Marinette opened her eyes.

"Honey your a princess!" King Tom said.

"Yes I agree! Princesses don't fight!" Her mother said still laughing at the idea.

"I want to learn." Marinette said without closing her eyes.

" You won't learn and that's final!" King Tom said stomping his foot.

Marinette gulped

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while. Hope it was worth the wait. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. The book might be over soon because I'm going to make this a short story.
