It's been quite a few months since I met Zayden Stone.

In just those few months, I've experienced things I've never thought I could get back to doing.

But that's the past and today's the present.

It's spring break and Zayden's taking me somewhere - somewhere he refuses to tell me where that is. But I've got used to his mysterious antics, and I know they aren't just there because he's a superficial asshole. Even though he sort of is.

I was dressed in a dress. Shocker. He said look nice, hopefully, I'm not being over the top.

Soon there was a knock on the door, and I quickly walk over to it, opening it.

Zayden was dressed in a black button-up and khaki pants. A smile identical to my own took over his face when he saw me.

"Jamie Heart, you look ravishing today."

"I could say the same to you, Zayden Stone."

We made our way to his pick-up truck and the drive to the unknown started.

We made our way to a clearing, the greenery was beautiful.

I got out the car following behind Zayden, awestruck at the sight in front of me. We went past a few trees before we reached a wide area. There was a table with lights on it, and dinner on a plate.

I halted to a stop, shocked by what Zayden had done - for me.

That didn't go unnoticed by him, because he quickly turned around as well, looking at me with worry evident on his face.

"What's wrong?" He was nervous.

I walked up to him, and without saying anything I placed my lips on his own. He was shocked at first but he returned the gesture by replying. I pulled away quickly and gave him a smile.

"Nothing's wrong then, I guess." I chuckled at his nervousness and we walked to the table. He pulled a chair out for me, and I took my seat. He placed the food in front of us and took his own seat.

"I knew taking you out to a simple dinner would've been boring to you, so I tried to make it special."

"You did."

He gave me a smile before taking the lids off of the trays he put in front of himself and me.

There was a pizza on the tray. I burst out laughing.

I quickly settled down and gave him a raise of my eyebrows.

"I remember us watching that romantic movie, and you told me if anybody were to take you out and give you some small fancy dish you would smack them across the face because it's not even fulfilling."

"You've outdone yourself, Zayden Stone."

"You deserve the best, Jamie Heart."

*****

I think it's safe to say the dinner went better than planned.

The stars were beautiful tonight and since we were away from the tall buildings and such, we had a pretty great view.

"Jamie Heart, I have to tell you something."

I focused all my attention on Zayden Stone.

"Yes?"

"I think I love you."

"You think."

He looked at me, "I know."

You know when you're on a rollercoaster, and you get that feeling when it quickens and goes down the hills. You're scared but excited, you feel as if you're going to die - but you're happy.

That's what I was feeling right now.

"I know I love you, too."

A smile took over his face, "You know?"

A bigger one took over mine, "I know."
