So this is why I, Jennette Campbell, decided to go to Parker Reed to spice up my year a bit.
Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time but not so much now. Not when I'm 80% covered with dirty hose water, dripping wet in our living room facing a pair of shocked expressions on my parents and a pained expression from muffling her laughter on my sister's face.

"So you're telling me that u decide to have fun now? On the last year of high school," Megan asked incredulously.
"I mean, yeah, it's our senior year. It has to be epic, ya know?"
"Yeah, I know. I've been trying to get you to do thee crazy and amazing things with me but you always end up chickening out. And that's not it. Right when you want to do these things after 4 years in high school, you go to Parker Reed? The guy that almost got expelled?" She took a deep breath after her rant and I feel kind of guilty for doing that. She has been with me for a long while now , and at the end I suggest Parker Reed.
"Look, Meg," I said hesitantly, "I'm sorry for refusing your , oh, so inviting offers last year and the years before, but now I'm going to change, and you'll love it."
She stopped painting her nails, and looked up to me, a small devious grin formed on her face that made me question my decisions. "So we're going to sky dive?"
I opened my mouth to protest, but closed it again. This is how it's going to be; this is how it has to be. If I want to have a memorable year, I have to take the risks, do what I fear, and live a little. I grinned back to her and said, "Why the heck not?"

Okay, I can do this. I just have to walk up to him, ask to speak alone with him, and get it over with. I nibbled on my carrot nervously, eyeing the table across of me. Parker Reed sat with his friends, laughing. They all looked so perfect, the four of them. I laughed, thinking of the twilight series. Megan looked at me weirdly before shaking her head, she was used to this.
"So, are you like gonna stare at them for the rest of lunch or..." I glared at Megan and stooda up.
"Finally," she muttered, and I gave her another glare.
I walked up to them and when I got to their table they all looked up.
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, I thought internally.
I cleared my throat and said, "Can I speak to you privately?" I looked at Parker ignoring the stares of his other friends.
"Sure," Parker said smugly with a smirk on his face.
"Uh, no. It's not what you think. It's just talk."
Ya little nasty, as Raven Baxter once said.
"I never said it was like that."
"But your face suggested otherwise." He raised his eyebrows. I heard one of his friends, a brown skinned pretty girl, laugh silently with a shake of her head.
I turned around and walked to the exit of the cafeteria with Parker trailing behind me. Once we were alone in the secluded hallway. He leaned against the lockers and crossed his arms, his muscles straining against his chest. Parker was a very hot guy, a very hot guy that knew the effect he had on almost all of the girls in school with his dark brown spiked up hair, chiseled sharp features, and crystal blue eyes.
