A second update today :) thank you DeducingAngel for the comments on the last chapter because those made me really happy haha

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I woke up in an abandoned storage or something, where I was in the middle of an empty room, tied to a chair. Could this be any more predictable? "Murder coming to get us, they're coming to get us. And away we hide, away we hide" I murmured quietly. I tried to get my hands or legs free but no luck. I was tied up like they wanted to keep me in this chair forever. "Tie me to a tree, or in this case, chair. Tie my hands above my head
Sing a song to me, sing a song like what you said" I sang as I heard footsteps approaching.

My voice echoed through the entire building, making the lyrics to the song bounce around the room. I saw silhouettes approach me as I kept my posture straight and a big smile plastered on my face. "And they're gonna murder me! They're gonna take me down!
Even before I sleep, I cry murder" I yelled out, surprising myself on the inside as it actually sounded pretty okay. I heard slow claps coming from the man in front of me, coming from him.

"Great performance sweetheart, but one thing, you can't hide" He said being all bored. "Jim, always a pleasure, you're getting rather boring. I thought you hated being ordinary, but look at this place, it's pathetically stereotypical" I said as cheerfully as I could. "Thought it suited you" he said carelessly. "Well you're the one who chose the scenery honey, maybe I'll pick the location for our next date" I said innocently. "Oh you know that there is no such thing as a next one" he smirked. "I know I just thought I'd play along with your little trick" I mocked.

"Talking about tricks, how was mister Holmes doing?" He asked. "Splendid, John was out for milk though, that was pretty sad" I pouted. "You know that I mean the other one" He glared at me. "Yes jesus of course I know, you really are boring aren't ya? He was fine, the best he could ever be" I groaned while rolling my eyes. "And I swear to god if you make me roll my eyes one more time they'll roll out of my head" I stated. "Hm that's not what I made out of it. What would he do if something happened to his heartthrob?" He smiled mischievously.

"Nothing because nothing will happen to him. If you heard that conversation you know who I am and what I am capable of. If you touch my brother you are dead, and you out of all people should know that" I shrugged. "Ah not so fast there, what happened to loving me sweetheart?" He smirked. "That was before you sent someone who tried to kill me, before you strapped me into this chair and threatened to hurt my brother" I winked. "Well you lied to me, I gotta do something" he said innocently.

"I didn't lie to you, I never did" I said as I shook my head. "Than what was that mask? We were almost partners, you were good, but you never let me know who you were, always wearing that stupid mask of yours and hiding your identity. YOU LIED TO ME!" He howled. "I never lied to you Jim! You knew I was stupid and in love! You could have asked me and I would've told you without thinking about it!" I spat angrily. Was he really that stupid or was he simply blind too? I would probably never know.

"It's such a shame, we could've been partners, you were good, one of the best. But nooooo you had to be boring. You had to be on the side of the angels. You wanted to start over" he said as he stood right in front of me, making me look up. "That was my choice, it had nothing to do with you. I chose to have a heart, to make people proud, people like my brother. It is not my fault that you can't see that" I snarled as I saw a millisecond of pain shooting through his dark eyes.

He bowed down so his face was right in front of mine and looked me in the eyes. "Yes of course it was that particular reason. Definitely not because you loved me so much that it hurt" he said with a dead eyed smile. "If I wasn't tied to this chair and surrounded by your men I would've bit your nose" I smiled back. "Of course honey. Take her away boys!" He yelled as he stood up straight and stepped back to let them untie me. I saw the guy from earlier, all patched up with a bandage on his nose.
