If your heart was full of love,

Could you give it up?

"I am the reason that you changed this much?" I asked, getting even more upset. "You betrayed me, you left without a word while we were in the middle of working on something. I can't believe I ever trusted someone like you, I had to finish it on my own while it was a two person job" He huffed. "Okay listen to me, and listen carefully bacause I'm only going to say this once more, and if this gets talked about to anyone that is not you or me, you are dead" I growled as he just nodded with an emotionless face.

"You may not care about this, but I have a brother that I want to make proud. He is the only family I have left and I will do anything in my power to keep him happy, even if that means giving up the life I was living. I couldn't let him be the DI that has a sister who decided to pair up with a consulting criminal, that would ruin his life. I care more about him than I do about myself so don't even think about sending people there, you know what I'm capable of and you'll be as good as dead the second you dare touch him" I said as I stood up and bored my gaze into his eyes.

"Fine. I won't touch your brother, but you are still staying here and doing what I tell you to do" He said, making me feel a little bit better about having to be here. "Okay fine" I shrugged as I dove my hand in my jacket, putting the gun away. "Really now?" He asked, sounding surprised that it had actually worked. "Of course, I'll be in my room if you need me" I said with a bright smile as I pulled out the can and sprayed him in the face. I didn't have the heart to let him fall and smack his head against his desk, so I held onto him with one arm, resting his head on my shoulder as I pulled up his chair with the other. I carefully sat him down and looked at him, he finally looked peaceful while he was sleeping.

No matter what horrible shit he'd put me trough, I will always still love him. I went up and hugged him, knowing this was probably the last chance I will have after seeing how mad he is at me. I kissed his cheek and ran out the door, time is ticking and if I am not quick enough I will run out forever. I ran into the kitchen and got enough money for a cab from his hidden stash. After that, I went out the door and ran, I just ran as fast as my feet could carry me until it was safe to stop and get a cab. I told the cabbie the adress and just stared out of the window till I saw the building come up, making me throw the money in the passenger seat and run out.

I hurried towards the door and knocked on it like a madman since I didn't have my keys on me anymore. The door swung open and revealed a tired looking brother. "Sasha?" He asked surprisedly. "Hey Greg" I said with a sad smile, before I was engulfed in a big hug. I hugged him back and just enjoyed it since I would't be seeing him again anytime soon. "Greg please listen to me I don't have much time" I said with a frown as we quickly got inside. "What is going on?" He asked. "I want you to go to Mycroft, he'll explain some stuff to you. I also want you to keep an eye out for him because I don't know what is going to happen, but I made sure that you would be left out of it, you are safe" I reassured him.

"Safe from what? Safe from who?" He asked confusedly. "You remember Jim I assume? Well it's him. He's back. I promised to do what he says in order to keep you safe, he is giving me no choice so please don't think that anyting that will happen is because I wanted it to. I am just trying to keep you alive so please don't try to stop me" I said as I felt tears prickling in my eyes. "It's okay, I'm so sorry" he hushed as he hugged me again. I just cried into his shoulder for a while, letting it all out.

"Greg?" I asked to get his attention. "Yeah?" he replied groggily. "I would like to use my mask again" I muttered as we pulled away again. "Well we only have that half covering mask that you used a few times, we burned the one that covered your whole face remember?" He reminded me. "Yes I know. We were supposed to delete that part of my life from our memories, like he had never been there and like I never met him, but here we are. And I never liked the other mask, I wanted this one anyways" I said as we walked up the stairs to the attic. He moved some stuff around and pulled out a black velvet box, handing it to me.
