"This is goodbye, Y/N, I can't live with what I've done. I'm sorry," I say sadly smiling and shaking my head.

Before she can say anything I sprint to the edge of the bridge.

....

Suddenly someone body slams me onto the ground next to the edge.

I felt something crack and screamed, "GET OFF!"

They got onto their knees and sat on my chest so I couldn't get up and run.

It was dark outside by now so I couldn't tell who it was.

I looked over at Y/N with wet eyes, and she was on her phone.

"Hello? I need an ambulance down at the south bridge right now! My boyfriend just attempted suicide. Please hurry!!" she said crying and throwing her phone to the floor.

She looked to the ground with her hands on her hips as if she was trying to figure something out. But then she snapped back into reality and ran over to me.

"Blake, baby what were your thinking, idiot..." she whispered while she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me with everything in her.

I instantly hugged her back with one arm. I tried to wrap both around her but, the other one wouldn't move.

"Y/N, my arm," I say wincing at the excruciating pain in my left arm.

Y/N pulls back from the hug and looks at my arm. It was all bent up.

"Oh, my god.." she said covering her mouth.

Then, she turned to the person that saved me and slapped him across the face.

But then she hugged him.

"Thank you," she said letting out a shaky breath and crying on his shoulder.

He wrapped his arms around her back and helped her up. Even though I should've been mad, I wasn't. I was relieved. This person just saved my life and is comforting someone I love with everything in him to distract her from what has just happened.

"Mario?" she says taking off his hood from his jacket.

"After I left from your house, I sat in my car thinking about-," he looks over at me and then says, "about the recipe you gave me for cookies and I saw you walk out of your house. So I got out of my car and followed you because I was worried about why you would be walking by yourself at almost 9pm at night. Then I saw Blake and you crying and I knew something was wrong. I figured y'all broke up so, I turned around. But then I heard you scream so I ran to you guys and I saw Blake running towards the edge and I pushed him onto the ground."

I hear the sirens of an ambulance coming and then saw the blue and red lights shining.

The ambulance pulled up and two men got out and opened the back of the car. They got a stretcher and unfolded it. They brought it over to me and Y/N and Mario moved out of the way.

"Blake!" Y/N yelled and ran up to me as they were wheeling me back to the car.

"Mario, meet us at the hospital!" she looked back at him with tears running down her face.

They lifted me up into the car and Y/N hopped into the back.

"Y/N," I whispered.

"Shhh, don't talk baby, you'll be alright, everything will be ok," she said trying to fight back tears with a forced smile.

"I cheated on you," I say, wincing at the words that left my lips.

"Blake," she said shocked, "what do you mean cheated?" she said with a tear falling from her eye without her blinking.

"I mean, I cheated on you, Y/N, I don't deserve you, that's why I want to kill myself."

"You wanted to kill yourself, not anymore right?" she said sternly. "Right??" she said now scared.

"Y/N, I-" I try to say but she cuts me off.

"No! No... we can.. talk about this later. Right now you need to rest."

She looked up and a tear fell from her eye onto my cheek.

What have I done?
