Olivier entered the swanky bar, holding his arm over his nose. It reeked of vomit and alcohol, and it didn’t help that the janitor in there smelled like he hadn’t showered in three days.
“Get out, boy!” The janitor prodded Olivier’s jeans with his dirty broom, leaving a scruffy black mark. “You’re not s’posed tuh be here.”
Olivier sighed, tired of arguing with people. “I’m just looking for a leather jacket. Is there perhaps one around here?”
The janitor looked at him with a glare. “Sonny, there ain’t no jacket here. I suggest you leave before you get caught underage at a bar.”
Olivier sighed again and started to rummage around, ignoring the janitor as he yelled at Olivier. With one swift move of his hand, he managed to turn off his hearing aid.
There. Olivier’s eyes suddenly spotted a scruffy, torn-up jacket, and he immediately rummaged through the pockets. Bingo.

Olivier mustered out of the bar as soon as the janitor could call the cops, and began reading over the contract. Olivier sighed and stopped reading, then put it back in Danny’s pocket. But his fingers quickly brushed against another piece of paper, and he pulled it out.
             Huh. It’s a…journal entry?

Olivier knew it was snooping. But at this point, he couldn’t give a rat’s ass about Danny’s feelings, after how Danny had treated him.

Sometimes, I don’t understand how the world works. I simply hate people.
Is that so hard to understand?
I don’t get how people can judge based on what you look like, what your sexual orientation is. What your race is. What you believe in.
If you’re different yourself. Like me and Oli were.
I understand why people hate. Completely. 100%. But people don't like different. People are just.. People are going to be people and judge and laugh and tease and pretend they're better.
But they’re not going to be better. They’re just going to pretend and put on a smile and laugh, when deep down inside, they’re hurting just as bad as the rest of us. The only difference is that we choose to acknowledge our flaws and our differences, and they’re just going to keep on pretending that they don’t have any flaws.
I don’t understand how humanity got this way. I don’t understand how we got this way.
Olivier and I were different. We were rebels.
We were our own.
Evan’s a follower. I’ve realized that. And that’s why my relationship with Evan is so different from the one with Olivi—

Olivier bit his lip, not finishing what he started reading. He didn’t WANT to.
And this is why I cannot give a fuck about how the world works. Danny has summed it up in one journal entry. He…

Olivier bit his lip harder, knowing that it was turning white. Danny Danny Danny. He still hadn’t gotten over the fact that Danny treated him like something scraped off the bottom of his shoe.
He sighed, until something collided with him from behind.
             “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!”
“Shhhh!” Danny clamped his hand over Olivier’s mouth. “God. You’re so loud. I need some water.”
Olivier glared at Danny and held out his leather jacket. “Here.”
“I’m sorry,” Danny sighed, taking the jacket. His throbbing hangover was still there, and he closed his eyes. “I’m sorry for treating you like absolute shit.”
But that wasn’t bothering Olivier. What was bothering Olivier was the fact that Danny had picked Evan over him. Even if Danny and Olivier weren’t together.
             He was…jealous.
Jealous. Oh my God, I’m jealous.

Olivier didn’t know how to act. He didn’t know what the bloody hell to do.
“Olivier?” Danny said quietly, looking up at him.
That was when it struck Olivier that it was the first time that Danny had said his full name. Olivier had to crack a smile as he looked down at Danny, who, all in all, looked like a hungover stick.
“What?” Olivier asked, still holding onto Danny’s journal entry. Danny snatched it back and tucked it under his jacket.
“I didn’t mean to pick Evan over you. I was just…panicking.” Danny sighed, starting the way back to his house, their steps slow on the pavement. It was as if Danny had read Olivier’s mind. “I didn’t want to risk anything happening to you.”
“Like what? I can stand up for myself,” Olivier grumbled, but all Danny do was snigger. “What?! I was the one that carried you home last night!”
Danny stopped sniggering. “Aw, shut up. What exactly happened last night?”
Olivier raised his eyebrow. “That’s for me to know.”
             “Bastard.”
“Shut up,” Olivier felt a smile growing on his face. He missed the familiar bantering he had with Danny, and he felt himself oddly familiar with it all.
“But what happened?” Danny growled, growing impatient. Olivier sensed his tone and took ahold of Danny’s hand, not caring whether or not Evan and Danny were still together. He squeezed Danny’s hand and sniggered.
“I’ll tel you later. You need to lie down,” Olivier squeezed Danny’s hand again and watched as Danny’s face crumpled up. “Come on, let’s get back to your house.”
“Only if you carry me.” Danny stopped walking and stood his ground, crossing his arms. He had a smirk on his face, and Olivier was tempted to wipe the smirk off his face.
“No! I carried you all last night, up that stupid hill,” Olivier growled. “I’m not carrying you again.”
             “Wimp.”
             “What?”
“You just can’t carry me. That’s why you don’t want to- Hey!”
Olivier held hold of Danny’s hips and flung him over his shoulder, walking up the steep hill. “OLI! LET ME DOWN!”
             “No!” Olivier laughed.
Danny felt like he was falling, so he clawed Olivier’s back. “OW!” Olivier tumbled over onto Danny’s lawn, dropping Danny on his back. “What’s your problem?!” Olivier and Danny both landed on the grass, laughing and hitting various plants until they met in the middle of his lawn.
“I have a lot, honey,” Danny purred, rolling over to his back and looking up at the sky, a huge smile on his face. “I have a problem with amnesia. I do NOT remember what happened last night. So please, tell me.”
“But we have to talk about us first.” Olivier muttered.
Danny sighed, rolling over on the grass so he was facing Olivier. “We ARE talking about us. We’re talking about what the hell happened to us last night.”
“Fine,” Olivier flipped over on the grass and looked at Danny, his head propped up on his hand. “You got drunk. You threw up everywhere, even on me. Then I carried you home. Gave you a bath.”
“And…?” Danny urged Olivier to continue.
“And you said that…” Wait. Should I even be telling Danny this? What’s my problem?
             Olivier…come on…
             Honesty, yeah?

“Imight’veletitslip. IsaidIloveyouandyousaiditbackandthenyoupassedoutthinkingitwasadr— “
“Dude, calm down.” Danny pinched Olivier’s arm, smirking as Olivier cried in pain. “I know that part wasn’t a dream.”
“Really.” The wind started up, and he felt the fog coming.
“Mmhm,” Danny lied, pulling his leather jacket over the both of them. “I knew it.”
             “Liaaaaar.”
Danny simply rolled his eyes. “Whatever.”
“So what happened between Evan and you?” Olivier asked, playing with one of Danny’s fingers. He still felt the jealousy inside of him, and Danny knew that Olivier was jealous.
“Well,” Danny smiled. “He took me to the Zoo! It was the most amazing date ever!” Danny felt Olivier pull his hands away from Danny’s. “And then, Evan bought me the biggest puff of cotton candy ever! His dates are pure heaven.” Danny bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. He liked teasing Olivier, whether he liked it or not. “And his kisses? They’re like…hot damn, kid!”
“Ah, well…I’m glad. For the both of you, that is.” Olivier tried to smile, but it looked like something had crawled down his throat and bit him. “I’m glad that you got over your differences and such. I’m glad that he apologiz— “
“Stupid!” Danny cried out, smacking Olivier’s arm. “I love you, dumbass!”
             Olivier’s mouth formed a little ‘o’. “What?”
“God, you’re so stupid! And innocent!” Danny smacked Olivier’s arm again. “I’m teasing you!”
“Oh." Olivier didn’t know what to feel now.
“Why do you think all my songs were about you, you dumbass?” Danny sniped. “I was doing the same thing you were doing with your blog. I broke up with Evan, stupid. For you!"
“…great…?” Olivier was at a loss for words.
“Yeah, great! And it’s not like I forgot about you either, you know?” Danny growled. “Don’t you ever forget about me, Olivier Laurent. And don’t you be falling for my stupid teases either.”
             “But— “
“Shut up and kiss me, stupid.”
And that was what they did for the next hour.

             “Danny?”
             “No.”
“Danny, I have to go,” Olivier struggled to get up, but Danny’s head was still on his chest. “Danny!”
             “Shhh.
Not so loud.” Danny murmured, then closed his eyes again. Olivier sighed.
“Danny, my mother is already on the verge of killing me. I snuck out last night, and the cops are probably combing the city for me right now.”
             “Don’t care. Live with me.”
“Danny, I really have to go. Come on, I’ll carry you inside.”
“No!” Danny shrugged Olivier off, still lying on the cold grass. “Fine. Leave me alone, left to wallow in my own sorrows.”
             “What the hell, Danny.”
Danny sighed and rolled over. “Call me tonight?”
“Yeah. We still need to talk,” Olivier smiled at Danny softly, at the little guy in the grass.  "Doesn't mean I forgive you!" Olivier quickly yelled. He began walking off, until he heard a faint cry in the distance.
“I LOVE YOU, DUMBASS!” Danny cried out.
Olivier lifted both of his middle fingers, and ran off before Danny could tackle him.
