Chapter 17; Love Never Dies

Erik's pov

Today is the day! Christine is going to sing for me, I knew she would. And I'm do glad that Gustave accepted me. I could hear the scream in my head but he did'nt. He's just like Christine accepting a person for who he is on the inside and not on the outside. But I still think my face is hideous but my loved once has a different opinion.

I looked at christine's dress. I took away the blue one and made another. A more simple dress but this one was even harder to make. The pink dress that had so mutch glitter on it and of couse there was the necklace. She is going to look increadible.

She had an hour left before her performance. She came in and had a white robe on. "Erik can I see the dress now?" She asked laughing in between. She looks so mutch happier and her scars and black eye has completley dissapeard.

I took a step back and she gasped when she saw it. "Oh Erik" she said. I laughed a little I stood behind her with my hands on her sholders. "Don't say anything you deserve it". I said and without thinking first I kissed her neck.

She froze but smiled anyway.

She looked into the mirror as I out my left arm around her just like I did all those years ago.

I sang and I could see that she was in my spell as soon as I stoped singing I kissed her hand and quickly left.

Christine's pov

The way he sang to me, oh I had forgotten how good it felt. The deep conection that made us both stronger.

I put on the dress and it fit me perfectly. Meg helpt me with the back. I'm so glad that I hot to see her again. I put on the necklace and turned around to face her. She gasped. "Oh Christine you are so beautiful!" I smiled and gave ger a hug. "Thank you". I wispered.

She followed me down backstage. I could hear the audiance talking. This is going to it them all. I have been missing for five years and hear I am back in the place were I was born to be.

"Ladies and gentlemen Mr Y is pleased to present to you his final suprise of the season, the world's most heavenly diva, the most celebrated song bird, the beautiful breathtaking Christine Daae!"

I could hear the audiance gasp. It made me smile. The curtain came up  and all the lights were on me. They all claped when they saw me. I smiled and the long intro began. I took a breath and started the song.

After I'd finnished I got standing ovations. I was so happy at last.

I bowed twice and got flowers flying up to the stage. I went into my dressing room and let out a sigh. A sigh of relief and happiness.

Erik came into the room with a big smile on his face.

Ah Christine my Christine

What a triumph you came me tonight

My Christine all the dark silent years now set right

Erik stroke my cheek a little as ge held me in his arms, pulling me closer to him.

The song was beautiful

It sounded beautiful

Erik pulled me closer as we kissed. Oh how good it felt! His lips were warm and soft and I thought my heart was going to explode. The time stoped, we kissed each other perfectly. We slowly pulled apart, breathless. He kissed my hand as I smiled at him. I'm not leaving him this time and the same goes for him.

Erik kissed my hands and looked like he wanted to ask me something.

"Christine, I have never asked you this I've only forced you. But I wont this time. I love you more than words can say. You are my everything and I love that you love me for me and for what I'am. I can't possebly describe how mutch I love you so I'll tell you why I love you. I love you for being a good person, a person who thinks good in all people. I love you for changing me for the better. You made me realize that the night you kissed me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you". He said at this point I'm crying my eyes out. He got down on one knee and pulled out a small plack box. He opened it and inside was ge most beautiful dimond ring I've ever seen. "Christine Daae, will you marry me?"
