Chapter 18; One Love, One Lifetime

Erik's pov

I woke up with a smile on my face. Today is the day that I'am marrying the love of my life Christine Daae! I'm so glad she said yes I was nervous for a minute because she was speechless for a few long seconds. But she gladley accepted. Thank god! I don't know what I would have done if she said no.

But deep down inside I knew she would'nt. The press has been following her for day's asking her all kinda of stuff like were have you been? How are you feeling? Why did you go away? Of course she did'nt answer.

A few hours later I was looking at myself in the mirror. I desided to look as myself, the usual clothing. I picked up the mask and put it on me making shore to fix my wig first.

I had the ring in a pocket inside my tux I give it to the preist later. I wonder what Christine is up to. I want to look for her but I have to follow the rule. It's bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony. I hate that rule so mutch that I really want to pick up my Punjab lasso but then I remembered. I'm getting married today, I can't screw thing's up today, Christine will never forgive me. Besides I'm not that man anymore. I'm also no longer a wanted man, I told the police and the juge everything and they saw that I was a changed man and that I would never harm anyone ever again.

I'm going to keep that promise. Not just for my Christine or my son but also for myself.

An hour later I was with gustave in the church as my best man we wanted a small wedding. After all it's only going to be the Giry's.

Finally it was time to start. I heard the beautiful music organ echo I took a breath and saw Christine having Meg as her bride's made and Madame Giry to give ger away. She is the closest thing Christine and I have. They slowly started walking.

Christine's pov

I slowly walked up to Erik as I reached for his hand. The priest said some morning thing's about marrige when he finally came to the big finnish. "Erik Destler do you take Christine Daae to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?" Erik smiled at me. "I do" he said lovingly.

"Christine Daae do you take Erik Destler to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?" I smiled at Erik, only having my eyes on him. We only saw each other.

"I do" I said lovingly. "The ring's please". Meg gave me Erik's ring as I put it on his finger Erik did the same with me.

By the power invested in me I now brononce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride". She said. Erik kissed me with so mutch love and passion. We heard laughter and cries. We stoped kissing and hug'd everyone.

I got married today to the love of my life. And I've never been happier, really I have'nt.
