Conflict is unavoidable. The most recent conflict would be the conflict going on, right now. Seriously. How do I write this? Should I do it this way, or that way? Every day, in fact, presents multiple conflicts. Conflict could be defined as opposing ideas, or an argument, or a disagreement. People have differing ideas of conflict.
There. That is conflict.
Even now, I hear my classmates trying to decide on a new musical piece, or the 'hottest boy' on Instagram. In a corner somewhere are two people discussing religions that would normally clash and kill each other.
Peace is merely the period between conflicts. What else can there be said? The matter of conflict should be laid to rest in an obsidian grave - and yet, conflict is necessary.
I'll leave you to decide which side you support. After all, without conflict, what is peace?
