Jess

Okay, don't make any noise. I had just woken up, but Kiley was still asleep. Should I wake her up? I look over to the sink. Nah. Let her sleep.

I walked over to the kitchen, and pulled out a granola bar. What does she want to eat?

"Can we go to McDonald's?"

"Holy shit! Where did you come from?!" How does that scare me?

"The couch..."she gestured to where we slept.

"Oh, we are going to the beach today, go get ready." She grinned and ran off to her suitcase. What is with her and the beach?

"I'm gonna go take a shower?" I pointed to the bathroom.

"That's cool. Make it quick!" I went to the bathroom and saw her suitcase in the shower. What was so important? I opened it up and saw some clothes, she still has that Pop! figure?! her makeup bag, one of those ring boxes. A ring box? I opens it up and saw her a ring pop.

"Why do you have a fucking ring pop in here?!" I yelled down the hall. She is obsessed with these things.

"Why are you looking through my stuff?!"

"I wanted to see if all your stuff was okay! And it is! Now explain the ring pop?!"

She appeared in the doorway, "It's like the Corpse Bride DVD, what if we are fighting, and I want a ring pop, but you are in the kitchen, so I have my back up ring pop!"

"Why does that make sense? Anyone else saying that and I would think they are crazy."

"Because you know I'm crazy, so it doesn't bother you." She laughed.

"I guess I'm not taking a shower then. Let me go get my swimsuit on, okay?" She nodded and sat on the couch.

"I don't have any ring pops in the house." Might as well have her hate me for five minutes of the day.

"You don't have ring pops!? I guess true friends stab me in the front."

"Nice reference!" I yelled to her.

"Shut up! Get your swimsuit on!" We laughed. I grabbed a towel and sunscreen.

"You know it takes three hours to get to the beach you want to go to."

"Well then hurry up!" She smacked me.

"Stop hitting me, I'm gonna have like, five bruises!" She laughed and ran out the door.

Woo, beach day!

And good night
