Rhett's PoV
"I know what I'm doing,"I told Link, then went after Kara. Her door was shut, but I opened it gently.
"Kara,"I said.
"What do you want?"She asked."I barely know you. If it wasn't for my friend Alice, I wouldn't know who the heck you are. Just get out and leave me alone."
I willed myself not to obey."No,"I told her."Tell me what's wrong."
She sighed and rolled her eyes."I guess you're not gonna leave me alone, are you? I suppose I have to tell you."I nodded."Well, too bad."
Kara continued to look at-- I couldn't tell what it was. But considering how dense it looked, I was guessing it was a photograph.
"What's that?"I asked her. Kara looked up to me, nothing but annoyance in her eyes.
"Did I ask you to come in here?"She said rhetorically."No. Then it's none of your business."
I looked at her violin, which was on the side of the bed in its case."It has a name, doesn't it?"I asked her, hoping it would catch her attention. I worked semi-ly, she did look up.
"No, it doesn't,"She said, pronouncing it with a crack in her voice.
"I know your lying,"I said.
"I'm not."
"You're a terrible liar."I walked towards her and sat on the bed. I caught a glimpse of what she was looking at before she could pull it away.
"I knew it,"I said.
"Knew what?"Kara said."You obviously don't know anything."
"Kara, give me that picture,"I instructed. She refused until I pulled it out of her hands.
"Hey!"She protested.
"Wait,"I said."I want to show you something."
I pointed to the tall guy next to the guy in the wheelchair."Kara,"I said."I'm that tall guy."
Hey, guys!!!! I bet you didn't expect that, did you?
(I bet you did. ._.)
But I hope that you enjoyed this chapter! I liked writing it. :)
And thanks to all of y'all who are reading this! Nothing supports me better. (Is that correct grammar?)
